Noa Hoshizaki appears in front of Chrono Shindou. During the "last fight" of the First Stage of U20 Championship that everyone is focused on, Chrono witnesses a repulsive image upon noticing the unusual appearance of Noa.

...But he still lost. Luck doesn't nullify a win, at most it gives it less value
K Billz Shion meant taiyou is good enough to beat him cause taiyou 's formation is quite aggressive and it's hard to guard 😖. The thing is that the Trigger check that decide the game.But still Taiyou needs to workout on both attitude for "being" the right hand of Striders and skills since he got some skills in SS1 but he never use it anymore
K Billz sinon cheated, before his final turned he used all cards in his hand to guard. He then proceeded to draw one use altmiles skill to call the card he drew before stride step, THEN he strode using what card in his hand exactly?
Um, You know that Taiyou "cheated" too. One of his skills only affected units with Unite and he gave it to one that didn't have it. It isn't real cheating. It's just the writers not always paying attention. So Shion is still in the clear.

Okay looks like my theory was partly correct. I couldn't tell if Tokoha was worried about Chrono in the fight, or if she wanted him to win so they could fight in the second stage. I don't know.
Chrono is Shiranui's vessel? I got a feeling that he is the true antagonist of NEXT, and Kazumi and Noa are just pawns. My guess is that, near the end of NEXT, Chrono will either be taken over by Shiranui (and Aichi will probably have to fight him since they're bringing him back next episode), or Chrono will just fight Shiranui normally and end the series. I don't know, but this series is getting dicey.
And again, Aichi is coming back... are you people happy...?

I havent seen many people talking about this, but there is some _good_ music in vanguard at the moment. The fight against Chaos Breaker was so badass. And not to mention that kickass ending theme. Totally kicked Ride on Fight out of 'Best vanguard ED status' in my opinion.

After GIRS Crisis and Stride Gate, we are finally having a season that lasts longer than under 30 episodes. You remember that GIRS crisis had 26 episodes and Stride Gate had 24 episodes but looks like NEXT is longer season because Chrono and others are still middle of U20. And yes! Aichi is returning :D !
