- I've been shopping a lot for my dolls lately, sometimes on Mercari or Facebook Marketplace, but I believe this video is all from purges on Facebook buy/sell/trade groups for American Girl collectors. This is a great way to grow your collection (or your kids collection!) on a budget.
The little NY purse is actually made for humans. They were made to hold a little lip gloss. I have bought several different ones over the years as they are the perfect size for a fancy dress up purse for our dolls. The first pair of cowboy boots are not AG. I think they are Sophia brand, I have the same pair in my collection.
I too have the adorable pink pj set and it is so so soft!
The black flats with the Halloween set are AG but I agree with you, they are not very nicely made and I was surprised they came with the rest of that outfit.
You got a lot of fun new pieces to dress your collection in. Our dolls always have way way more shoes than we do!!
Oh wow I appreciate all the info!! Sometimes I get such random stuff and no idea what it’s from lol nice to know! And yes I wish it was as easy to shop for myself as it is for the dolls 😅

I don’t mind the odd pieces when I pick up lots from Mercari or Facebook. I got a Disney ILY in a batch, and now any tight fitting item goes on her. I was surprised how much I bonded with the ILY doll.
I’ve thought about getting one of those dolls for my daughter. It’s a cute concept!

I actually really like those little black rubber shoes that go with the Halloween outfit. They belong to that outfit and are indeed AG. I think they fit nicely, don’t fall off and are an excellent black ballet flat (and they are matte, when most are shiny). Did I convince you yet to give them a chance?

This was a fun video. I don’t like OG shoes either, plastic and cheap. I love the cream color dress!
