Thank you for sharing the situation with your dad, it’s so easy watching RUclips to presume everyone else has an easy life and it’s good to be reminded that we all have our harder parts, family commitments and our own health concerns etc. But yet we can still enjoy the festive season as you’ve shown. I’m so happy you’re doing vlogmas and looking forward to your videos but please take a break if you need it. I’m sure everyone will understand ❤️

What a lovely daughter you are, but then I would expect nothing less of you. Christmas is such a busy time in the run up, so dont forget to take care of you. I've just had a hot bath in our favourite frangipani and monoi! Love the candle advent calendar, we got ourselves a coffee advent calendar! Looks like a lovely evening. xx

When I was very sick my dad bought me a small christmas tree every year and it was such a fine gesture that meant a lot.

I love that you are doing extra vlogs for Christmas! We are looking forward to putting our decs up this Sunday as we will be together as a family, just the 4 of us. I’ve told you I used to be a carer for my Dad (my wee pops as I lovingly used to call him) and I truly miss those special moments in between the tougher times. Best believe you will continue to make him smile 😊 - I don’t think we give ourselves enough credit for what we do or rest of that matter as we just get on with tasks in hand and do what we can for those we love. Hardest thing was to look after myself and yes you can hear something brewing in your voice. You can’t take care of others if you don’t look after you as I used to always hear but it’s true looking back and I guess I still wouldn’t listen if there was any way I could have my dad back. My Dad didn’t have a Christmas tree up either for years after my mum died but I am so glad that when he moved in with us in his later years we did. These are the moments you will cherish forever and keep them close to your heart ❤️ - I wish ‘your wee pops’ more laughter and happiness this Christmas and may you all share the joy of being together this festive season. Merry Christmas from our family to yours ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Ahhh your little dad on the phone and watching you do the tree… Bless him. I think you do have to force a tree now and then! My dad is the same. He has a partner now who is basically a Christmas Fairy so she’s taken over! Their tree is full on this year. 😅 He loves it really.

I adore your videos. Love the cushions. I love supporting small businesses as well though I do use Amazon for books as I find local bookstores don’t stock the books I like reading. But only local bookstore we have is Waterstones anyways. My hubby makes candles but doesn’t sell them yet though he may do at some point. House does stink a bit when he is making them and wax melts x

A just subscribed. Do you know why? Because you make sure you haven't forgotten your father. The Christmas tree is a lovely touch. I am not sure if your father is housebound. If he is, visits from family is wonderful. I have been viewing your videos but your act of kindness is what made the decision to follow you. Awwww Kay bless you for sharing about you're dad. I'v been there with both of my parents and i know how draining it can get but i never saw it as a job or a chore. I was always happy to help and care for them both. Give my regards to you're dad and wish him a merry christmas even though he hates it. lol. x

I too help with my mum and dad my mums quite disabled and i do her nail etc and for my dad i sort his appointments etc. Although disabled myself i love to help. loved the tree for your dad. Where are you getting your tree from please?. Hope you dont mind me saying but i think we live a couple of villages away😃. Anyway love to you both and your fur babbies.X
