I love Mingi so much and I’m so glad he is back with us. I am utterly proud of him taking the step back and focus on his mental health. It must have been a tough decision to make and it’s equally tough to make the step forward and return to Ateez. I hope everyone knows that and gives him lotsa of love. As much love as you can. This man deserves all the love from this universe. He is one brave being. I am a proud mama.
I personally feel like i was really lucky to have become an atiny after mingi went on hiatus because i wouldve been heartbroken. Theres never enough mingi anyway so mingi on hiatus mustve been tough
I literally missed Mingi so god damn much 💔💔 since he's my ultimate bias of course it hurt me a lot.

Story time (tw: su*cidal thoughts)
(For background, Mingi is my ult and I'm a dancer) So right around the time that Mingi went on hiatus, I was going through a pretty rough time. I had to leave the dance crew I was in because of Covid and declining mental health, and I was in the process of getting out of abusive living circumstances and moving back home. I also had to quit my job which I absolutely loved, and it broke me to leave all of that behind. All of that and with Mingi gone, the past months have been some of the hardest of my life. I felt really purposeless and aimless. I stopped dancing nearly altogether. I couldn't enjoy music like I used to. Time and time again I would try to find joy in the things I used to love and I just couldn't. I even contemplated suicide, which had been a problem i'd dealt with a few years back before i got into dance. When it was announced that Mingi was officially back, yes it sounds silly, but it felt like part of me revived. It was strange, because I wasn't overly emotional. I didn't cry. I just had this feeling of, "finally. He's home." And I felt hope for the first time in a long time. I began dancing again. Music has started to become beautiful to me again. I'm learning to enjoy life in general again. Finding beauty everywhere I look.
Mingi, while you were gone you took a piece of me with you. And while I have always understood and respected your need to take time for yourself, and I never stopped loving you for it, I'm not going to deny that life feels so much brighter now that you're here again. Thank you for your efforts to come back to us.

Wow. Thank you for sharing, and I am sorry you went through all that :( I also similarly had a rough 2020... Because of my family and life in general, mid-2020 to maybe April this year was the saddest I've ever been. But ATEEZ really brought me joy, and Mingi's talent and personality (and all the members) makes me so happy! When Hongjoong tweeted that Mingi was back and then Mingi tweeted, I also felt that "FINALLY, he's home" moment. Ever since, I've had this stupid smile on my face lol. And I agree, with him returning, I also feel like life is brighter and better, too ~ OT8!! I am so happy that you feel hope and are seeing beauty in things again and that you are back to doing things you love ~ Life has it's ups and downs, and I am so thankful for ATEEZ to add to our joy 💖

I am so proud of both you and Mingi. I have been suffering anxiety for the longest time. I can say anxiety has became part of my life and I am learning how to co-exist with it everyday. I understand what mental health can do to a person, and how not easy to overcome it. Mingi became my bias even before I knew the reason of his hiatus. After knowing it, I pledged to continually fight this battle alongside with him. His return and seeing him trying his best motivates me. I love him dearly. And I love everyone who loves him dearly. Stay with us. Stay with Mingi.
