None of this worked for me but here's what did work. There's a setting called "Send as SMS" under messages in settings, I turned that off and then on again after a few minutes.
Depends on your phone plan as to which is more suitable. Its not just because its a nice colour blue. Green Bubble works best for me because i don't have a big phone data plan, so on green my messages are sent as texts & are free on my phone plan. Blue Bubble uses Phone Data so if your on a smaller data plan but have free calls & text, its cheaper to go green.

Mine changes by itself from blue to green on iPhone 12 it has the ugliest colors my galaxy had pretty yellow n pastel pink n background so much nicer to look at

Anyway, I wrote a ticket to Apple and somehow it got fixed within the next 5m. Just try and wait until tomorrow morning if that doesn’t work then write a ticket to Apple they should help. Hope you understood if not lmk
