Damn dude. I've been looking through the 17.5 remixes, and while they're all definitely good, none of them absolutely blow me away. The exception being this one. It's generally pretty groovy on the whole, but the inclusion of ZUNpets in a song that isn't entirely chiptune sounds sexy as fuck. I started headbanging the first time I heard them
I personally like Joon and Shion theme remix, like the original is already very good but the Remix introduces an entirely different feel to the already good track.
There definitely are plenty of other good remixes in here - just none with the same impact I think. Flan returning after all this time is hype n all, but her song in 17.5 is kinda _meh_ imo. Joon and Shion's theme is pretty great, but I find myself preferring the original, reserving the new one for use as a change of pace. This song is the only version where I could _arguably_ put it in its original context and still love it

Having played the game, I can say this theme is the sole reason I can go through this bullshit of a boss. Can't count how many times I thought of just throwing my controller and calling it quits. Still gonna aim for no death clear, though it's gonna take a while (for me at least).
it seems like a hard fight at first , untill you realize that she has the durability of a cardboard cutout and you can beat her by just face-tanking all her attacks and damaging her faster than she kills you + her final phase is basically free so she might as well not have one.

As an Utsuho fan that has never played 17.5, I can confirm that this theme captures the "Woman representing Satan firing a neutron star out of their arm cannon" vibe really well

Some sound bits remind me of Megaman X2, that kind of whiny guitar Not a dig I should stress, Utsuho's a walking bomb and it makes her sound slightly unhinged
