Excellent review! I adore Tango, but shall not rebuy a bottle until the pricing structure of these 35ml bottles gets sorted out. I was initially thrilled to see the return of the 100ml bottles but the pricing of those make them simply prohibitive. Many, many of the newer 'niche' brands seem to have curious pricing structure issues in play. No doubt some marketing model is being deployed that I as a consumer am simply not in tune with. Yet in a market flooded by new releases, many of these brands seem to forget that value and confidence in a brand is not based on a price point that is free for some and inflated for others.
I’ve never gone through a 100ml bottle of anything and only 1 50ml bottle ever. So I like the smaller 35ml bottles. The 20ml sprayers are an option for most of the scents. They were losing money with the original pricing structure. The original bottles and logo got my attention in a bad way.
I think you are spot on regarding cost, quantity, and marketing of Masque fragrances. I did contact them about their pricing/affordability they said around the first quarter of 2020 they will be selling 10ml travel size scents along with their regular size. Though I appreciate this it still may fall flat with price per mil. One amber scent that maybe similar to this one is Ambre Loup, but that one is slightly more pungent. I totally agree that Tango is right up there near the top for amber type scents. One other Masque scent that I really enjoy is Monte Cristo, it has a nice smooth spicy feel to it that just makes you feel good. Great review!
Montecristo is very good too, but then i think of Rania J's T Habanero...

Shockingly overpriced. What really gets me is that they used to have 100ml bottles around the same price as the 35ml ones are now.
I won a sample set from Peter, Russian tea is lovely. There's a couple others that are nice but, bloody hell, what were they thinking about when they went to 35ml at a similar price. Avarice
Maybe they had to recoup the cost of free bottles sent out.

I loved this video, Pep. And you name-dropped some of the best out there. I fell in love with another Masque Milano fragrance and was held back by price too. Out of curiosity, are you a fan of MFK Grand Soir? 🌹
Thank you Sam. Strangely, Grand Soir is one of the 'major' ambers i haven't tested properly.

This one really rocked my boat. I managed to find the older bottle thats closer to the older price.
You just need to pretend to be an influencer and you might get one for free. It is a good amber, and if i didn't have better, less expensive ambers i may want a bottle too.

@@mUntada00 Ambre Sultan by Serge Lutens and Ambre 114 by Histoires de pArfums for a start. Cheaper as well.
I love this one, but it is a bit steep, especially for an edp. I am considering a full bottle, but I will be looking for a better price than retail.
I lied! I sampled this again, and fell hard. I bought a bottle at retail...no regrets!
Not a fan of this one. Too sickly. Ambra Aurea has it hands down in the genre.
UG im falling hard for this expensive perfume! i have a 10ml and cant stop smelling it. i hate that i love this house so much. i bought l'attesa (adore) and it came with a free 10ml of Tango. take all my money
See if you can find Ann8ck Goutal Ambre Fetiche. It's better, and cheaper.
