Genetics is obviously number 1 but if you want the best beard you can possibly have without minoxidil you should derma roll your beard once a week, Wake those dormant hairs up and feed the follicles with beard oil that has peppermint in it . That way you get thicker coverage. Everyone saids to grow it out and that’s true but if you want a combover effect. You need to attack the sleep hair follicles that need that push to grow . I used this method and already see results. I like my beard mid length closer to short . The goal is to see as little skin as possible basically

I've done 1.5mm on facial skin, with a 1mm-1.5mm it will penetrate the dermis layers of skin which promote alot more collagen and elastin the skin will look great but the healing process will continue for around 6months and the results will just keep on getting better within that time frame, however for beard growth anything under 0.5 can be used daily and 0.5 a few times a week at most, 0.5 is perfect for hair follicles, 1mm and 1.5 are usually for deeper acne scarring and nothing above should be used on face, anything higher is more for stretch marks and body usage
