Love the show but I dont think they need two permanent guests each week. The talent pool we have in Australia supports the ability to have more new comics who all can be on a rotation roster as well as the current team.
I personally like that they have the consistancy. Even if you don't fancy the guests, you know what you'll get from sam and ed. I alos like the long established comfortable banter. Bit like team captains in Spicks and Specks
it's good to have two anchors. In case they get a mix of guests that don't work. Ed moves things along when things are starting to go all over the place. Sam says the naughty answers then things are a bit too vanilla.
