- Another week, another video! This time out in one of my spots I havent visited for a little while, however this time from the kayak in search for some winter species. We ended up getting into some mulloway bouncing some plastics along the bottom. Hope you enjoy!
Good clip 👌 mate thanks for taking us along with you
Just finished a Night Shift and on my way home I drove over this bridge. The excitement that came over me when I remembered this video hahahahaha will definitely be checking this spot out 🤙
Any days fishing is good days fishing when you’re catching soapies. Beginners luck ha,ha😊😊 another awesome video as always Dan.
Cheers! Yea I don’t know a lot about these fellas, only caught 4 or so but will learn more as the seasons go on!
Nice session. It's great to see fish in the estuaries despite all of the pressure put on them.
Awesome video as usual mate there’s a good bream spot about 300m further towards the mouth of the river to but only on high tide
Nice Jews! The river actually has some ripper fishing, so underrated
It’s been fishing well recently hasn’t it! So overlooked by many
Both of you 🤫
We used to call small jewies, soapies and once bigger then call 'em schoolies when they're up 3-4 kg.
Great vid man! Gotta love a jewie bite
Cool little session mate! Rt shad getting the nibbbbbbbs my favourite plastic for sure!
Great vid o the soapies love to see u using the brag mats
Great fishing. I have fished there once with my brother and all I caught was a catfish.
Thanks mate! Yea it’s very hit and miss at times.. fortunately the last few times have been hits for me !
I have only fished the creek for bream and cattys on lures around the creek and at the mouth I’ve got some smaller soapys
Been waiting for some fish other than bream and flathead haha. Good stuff.
Haha yea look been a while! Jacks in the summer hopefully
I fished that side of town today.! Lytton to Morningside..got evicted twice, walked 6ks & used half a tank of Petrol all for a snipped off paddle tail..im in the grind atm, hoping it'll come together soon. Nice work Danga 👍🏼
Fluro✌🏽
Cheers mate! It’ll turn around for you soon - We all go through them rough patches but sometimes all you need is a little scaly creature with fins to make your day!
Very nice video.
Nice one ! 90 - 100 cm models school up under the Gateway 1st run out
Epic
Shitttt, fished here last few weekends from land. Hooked a good one and rubbed me off on that ledge. Might be seeing a few more heads getting snagged there now hahaha
Not every scenario is even elephants eat peanuts. As handy as the philosophy has been. You already know that you need the big baits for the big mates.
@@matthewmorshead2594 my fuckin hero. What eva Trevor
Reckon I lost a big Jack once along a rock wall not far from where you are.
Creature baits orange like crazy flapper but pays to add gold or chrome bead spotlight stores have them 4.4 in in plastics spot on for any jew fish good on a main beach at night bigger stuff turns up and bung walls are the go as well but jew night time and same with big jacks.
Legendary videos, love it so much 💙
Any tips on mounting the electric like that? Only ones I've seen are when people replace the foot pedals with a mount but yours looks like it's just cut through the bottom?
Cheers
Cheers mate!
It’s just an electric motor placed through the hull of the feel free lure 10. It comes standard with a pod that’s fills that space, however I’ve removed it and placed the motor through there. I’ll be doing a video on it soon
I know exactly where you are and fished that creek for a whole day about 2 weeks ago and caught nothing, which is not far from my normal luck. But its a nice creek and goes a long way down.
Hey mate. Fish this spot a fair bit and up the creek a lot. Cats, bream, an estuary cod and bull pups. Have you ever pulled anything nice out of the creek section? Jacks or big Jews?? I struggle with plastics up there
I haven’t personally caught jacks up there, but have heard good reports of them at times of the year
@@dang.fishingnice, I’ll persist then
That’s my local
Try that Creek in the summer - definitely. Bullies might be a problem tho haha
Hey does anyone have any ideas for fishing around Brisbane
Different times of year will fish differently! Most of its pretty good just need to be in the right place at the right time really
I got the same sounder but no idea how to read it. Can you do a vid or explain how to read it?
Yea it takes a while to understand it, I still have a heap to learn from it! I learnt from other RUclips talking about the Garmin 7sv and run that multi screen which shows the side scan, down scan etc. at the same time
Mate do the Ryan moody sounder course. Well worth it.
what's the yak??? like what brand and all that
Feelfree Lure 10 V2 👍
Hi mate, I am thinking of trying this spot again soon. Will be landbased. Is the usual theory of early morning or late arvo on a tide change the go?
That’s what I’ve found to work with me! But then again sometimes I’ve gone there and got nothing… just gotta be in the right place at the right time!
Hi mate, had a crack landbased at the creek mouth with my brother and a mate yesterday arvo. Servo prawns for bait. Too windy to toss lures. A couple of small bream, javelin (grunter bream) and Australian threadfin (putty nose perch). If I hadn't seen the video would not have tried here again. Cheers.
Hey man I know where the spot is but where do you launch the yak
Not too far from the mouth ;) if you just google public parks along that creek there is about 3-4 ramps! Just check them out at low tide as a few of them can be dangerous and slippery..
@@dang.fishing not to worry about slipperiness…. I’ll just hop in the kayak at the top and slide my way down to the water ahaha
@@thekidfisho8181 no dramas mate! Have a look on google maps it’s near the tennis courts ;)
@@dang.fishing yew thanks bro :)
@@thekidfisho8181 no worries mate, let us know how you go!
Hey, ik theres not many creeks on the brisbane river but do you know the name of it? Thanks
Plenty along the Brisbane river! Breakfast creek is a popular spot as well as bulimba
@@dang.fishing thanks bro
Go have a look under a bridge with the letter ending in Y. If you know you know. And it's not the Gateway.
Big Jew at night bro
Its all fun and games catching brisbane jewfish in a kayak until you t-boned by a rowing skull.
Oath 😂 they go hard that time in the morning!
Nice bream mate 👍
They were stacked behind a shag shitting 💩 in the water
