    I appreciated your insight and explanations. Your presentation was a complete study of the process day by day that anyone could benefit from following. In addition, you take the growing one more step into food preparation. More people will buy microgreens and produce them if they know how to prepare a meal with them. Thank you for your excellent work!

    I have been growing microgreens for more than a year now. Pea tendrils are among my favorites. I recommend blending them with sunflower shoots and radish microgreens. This makes an excellent combination, with the sweet taste of the peas, the nutty taste of the sunflowers, and the bitter taste of radishes. It's a great salad topper and really accents a sandwich. And, they're very pretty to look at.

      Thanks for watching my video. It sounds like either the temperature at your home was humid, or your peas were lack of air circulation in the tray. Sometimes, it could also be the quality of the peas you used, but this is the least likely scenario. I hope you don't give and try again. Good luck!

    Thanks for including the info on what sprouting tray to buy - I ordered one today. I bought some Vatana (dried green peas) recently, and decided to soak some for a couple of days, and all of them sprouted. I wasn't sure what to do with them after that, but I did find that they are extremely easy to sprout, as you said.

I'm going back to growing sprouts like I used to when I lived overseas. There's nothing like have fresh raw greens on your plate, especially during the Winter months. OMG, are these the same pea sprout I get from the Asian Market? They look like it, our favorite way is stir fry with just oil, garlic , salt and pepper. Have never eaten them raw in a salad nor in soup, will have to try. They are not cheap though. I can't believe it's that easy to grow. After you harvest them, do they regrow or is it just a one time deal then compost? So many questions haha. These are amazing. Thank you so much. I'm always learning new and exciting things from you. I wonder how many times you've tried it and how you came up with the brick trick. You're so amazing. I love this video so much, please do more videos like this. I had to edit because Mr. Yummy It! wants to know if you can show us how to grow radish sprouts. 😍👍LIKE #33

    • @FineArtofCooking
      @FineArtofCooking  4 года назад

      Thanks. I'm glad you like this video. Yes, this is the same pea shoots you get from the Asia Market. The store ones are usually harvest a little later so the leaves are slight larger. Also, there are several types of peas as well. That's why I'm specific with mine - "Green Pea Shoots". Yes, after harvesting, they do grow back, but not in the same capacity, may be 30 to 40 percent and the shoots are not as long. It's quicker to just start a new batch. I'm now growing broccoli and salad mix. Radish and sun flowers are two other on my list to try. On the video it looked like a lot of work but I spent only 10 minutes a day misting or changing out water. I hope you're inspired and start growing your own microgreens.💕 😘
