I liked to think that these were BF's imaginary friends, and Lemon Demon was his nightmare, and they helped him overcome it.
But then, at the end of the mod, they were described as beings beyond reality, controlling time and matter...
No if u read it it's says that Boy and Girl is the personification of the Male and Female sexes, they didn't have any purpose until a little after the big bang where they get the purpose to Entertain.

Wait so if they were just BF’s imaginary friends and helped him overcome and since they both were able to go beyond reality and time that might actually explain BF’s power (within the game’s logic) to being able to retry over and over.
Fun fact: Boy has such an intense Brooklyn accent it can be heard through writing.
Edit: Girl actually has a brittish accent but you cant hear it through writing.

Little detail: The Boy's head is in the shape of the Sun ( his hair being sunbeams) and the Girl's face being in the shape of the Moon is a reference to most cultures associate the Sun with a man and the Moon with a woman ( in this case being a boy and a girl)
And the background is like the universe with calming purple blue and white with stars GENIUS
Well, in my language almost everything have a gender where the sun use the male pronouns and the mom the female ones, we won't say "it" because in my language it's not even an pronoun
So make sense at least for the ppl of my country ppl see the sun as a male figure and the mom as a female one
As an added fun fact in Korea it's actually reversed as brother moon and sister sun. They were brother and sister who lived with their poor mom but after their mom was eaten by a tiger who tried to eat them too they prayed to God. God gave them a golden rope to climb and escape the tiger but when the tiger tried the same thing God gave him a rotten rope that broke and caused him to fall and die in a corn field. So that's why some of the corn in Korea has red splotches on it and after they climbed to Heaven the brother was supposed to be the sun but because the sister was afraid of the dark he became the moon instead while she became the sun.
also Girl just takes the form of a normal cartoon looking girl while Boy's head and hair is in the shape of a sun is interesting. I mean most children draw the sun as just a yellow circle with sunbeams just like boys head is portrayed so that adds even more to the factor that they're Astral babysitters
I noticed that and assumed they were named sun and moon.
It's so rare I find myself enjoying every song from a mod or an official week.

For real! This mod rivals garcello for me
I find it funny that both girl and bf have bf's voice but are heavily edited. Boy has an octave lower voice and a grainy filter. Girl has a high-pitched bf voice that has another voice harmonizing with it.
I kinda disagree with the one you put for Boy, since putting it an octave down would make it sound like Daddy Dearest, but he doesn't necessarily sound like him.

Lemon demon songs are already good" but then realized you meant the monster. (For context lemon demon is an artist you should check him out his songs are really good)

I love the little smile BF has when singing with girl in his idle pose, and I love the happy energy her headbobbing and clapping gives when boy sings.
A couple things I have realised.

I really like how when goom is playing, they hit notes before it’s their turn, it’s a really god strategy to do to prepare yourself for the note speed, how many notes there are and the rhythm of the notes.

Holy shit, what fantastic character designs those two have, so simple, but sooooooo much personality packed into them. Whitty died so twinsomia could live, Sockclip knocked it outta the park with this one
This mod proves how powerful BF is though. Sure boy & girl weren't going all out or anything but the fact that BF, at that young age, was able to keep up with the both of them at the same time for so long is astounding considering who they are.
Unrelated: I feel like BF could've dealt with the lemon demon here if he wasn't already worn out by boy & girl

I love the cut-scenes, especially that Take 2 when Boy and Girl switched out! Ha-HA! Like how it's drawn to show us the world through Lil Baby Blue. Boy reminds me of a multitude of creatures from different games; before and after the finale. I love his look! Would love to learn more about the two of them.
Edit: Saw the end. Coolest Baby Sitters is damn right! Really thought these guys were like ghost of some kind. Happy to see they were actually really cool! I hope to see them again in another mod!

The siblings pretty cool, I think they are imaginary friends, or paralysis demons who are nice? Considering they have a different side at the end and start of the mod. Girl had her slender eyeless form, and Boy has his alien 2 sets of teeth, it resemble's Xenomorph's alien with the wacky double innards and stuff. But yea pretty funni

they were created at the beginning of the world to be the “perfect” female and male. They have the ability to shapeshift into whatever they want as long it isn’t close to the opposite gender. They were given the role as “coolest babysitters” and thet just babysit random kids around the world

In all seriousness this mod is pretty epic! Songs are all bangers, and the style and character designs and colors are awesome. Also the way boy and girl’s voices sound together is really satisfying. I’m surprised I haven’t heard of this one before now

In funny weird way this can be origin for why bf loves singing and is borderline obsessed with it and song against new people(fanon bf no official bf)
I really enjoy the difference in Girl and Boy. Specifically the difference in their movements. Girl moves side to side with the beat, but Boy moves once to every other beat. It's a subtle difference, but it's a really nice difference.

I like to think they’re babysitter Dream guardians in a way. Like they try to get him to sleep but because of his insomnia they have to sing a lot to get him to calm down and when they do he has bad dreams for the first half of the night (Lemon Demon) so they have to scare the bad dreams off

been awhile since I've played or seen any mods coming from this game, and wow!! the animation and quality of this mod was amazing! everything felt so crisp I'm surprised this isn't an official release.
Honestly the designs are pretty sick with the implication that they have more Terrifying forms they can take. Boy’s design is geometric and not human looking which is endearing but also lends itself to how his terrifying form is the uncanny Body Horror of teeth and eyes being where they shouldn’t be with extra teeth. And Girl meanwhile is adorable and like a little doll, and her terrifying form is full on uncanny valley in the way that mannequins or eyeless dolls are. Love it
Im surprised, that in this mod main characters doesnt wants to kill the bf, and that with every song they arent getting mad and something like that. Loved that mod

Every time I come back to watch this I notice something new to love. Like how Boy and Girl alternate not only singing, but also who goes first in an alternation at some parts. Compare 7:44 where on each turn, it ends with Boy or Girl doing a repeat note that I call "chuckling" because it kinda looks like they're going "Heh Heh Heh!". It starts with Girl, then the next turn Boy does it, then Girl, and then Boy ends the 'set'. Then at 9:01 they do the same routine but it goes Boychuckle, Girlchuckle, Boychuckle, then Girl ends the set.
Find it so endearing when boy and girl distort their appearances to scare off lemon demon

On "Boogieman", Love how the arrows, before the song started throwing the clickable ones, were vibing in sync with the Boy n' Girl's movements. Absolutely love that! Would have been a neat thing to add to the game officially.

Ive only seen snippits of this mod and now finally watching it recontextualized alot of it.
I thought these two were Bfs parents trying to get him to get to sleep, but him being a lil menace, he keeps them up, and so they fight with the -- demon thats essentially keeping him up.
For a game that uses nothing but sounds the lyrics are understandable and fit well with his character
The dance the little girl is doing seems extremely familiar but I can't seem to put my finger on it.
