Remember, a prerequisite of revival is the need for revival. It is when the darkness is darkest that revival light often shines through. Brokenness. Repentance. Keep praying. Keep serving and seeking. Who knows, our merciful Lord just might bless us with a revival.
I hear the voice of one calling, prepare ye the way of the Lord And make His paths straight in the wilderness And let your light shine in the darkness And let your rain fall in the desert As sure as gold is precious and the honey sweet So you love this city and you love these streets Every child out playing by their own front door Every baby laying on the bedroom floor Every dreamer dreaming in her dead-end job Every driver driving through the rush hour mob I feel it in my spirit, feel it in my bones You're going to send revival, bring them all back home I can hear that thunder in the distance Like a train on the edge of town I can feel the brooding of Your Spirit "Lay your burdens down, Lay your burdens down" From the Preacher preaching when the well is dry To the lost soul reaching for a higher high From the young man working through his hopes and fears To the widow walking through the veil of tears Every man and woman, every old and young Every father's daughter, every mother's son I feel it in my spirit, feel it in my bones You're going to send revival, bring them all back home I can hear that thunder in the distance Like a train on the edge of town I can feel the brooding of Your Spirit "Lay your burdens down, Lay your burdens down" Revive us, Revive us Revive us with your fire!
I'd sooner have it rock and rollish rather than have it hip-hopish like nearly, all modern day, worship music. Why can't people bitch about that, instead. They don't, because they are hopelessly, addicted to the crap. Actually, this IS, a little hip-hopish but tolerable.
Aw I listened to this song in the car on journeys to national trust places growing up. I formed an impression of the sweetness and goodness in being in the Lord. Now I'm appreciating the lyrics being a bit more mature. I am so lucky to have grown up knowing Jesus.
Love this , praying for revival in Canada. Like the rest of the world we are in great need of a return to Christ Jesus. Jesus is coming soon be rapture ready.
Revival I hear the voice of one crying, prepare ye the way of the Lord. And make His paths straight in the wilderness And let your light shine in the darkness And let your rain fall in the desert. As sure as gold is precious and the honey sweet, So you love this city and you love these streets. Every child out playing by their own front door Every baby laying on the bedroom floor. From the Preacher preaching when the well is dry To the lost soul reaching for a higher high From the young man working through his hopes and fears To the widow walking through the veil of tears Every man and woman, every old and young Every fathers daughter, every mothers son. I feel it in my spirit, feel it in my bones You're going to send revival, bring them all back home I can hear that thunder in the distance Like a train on the edge of the town I can feel the brooding of Your Spirit Lay your burdens down, Lay your burdens down". Revive us, Revive us, Revive us with your fire!
For some reason, this has always been my favorite of all his songs. I can picture each part of it and relate to this! ... have had this album for years. At the time I never dreamed two of my sons would walk away from the Lord and us. Revive them and us Lord!
You Tube are so rotten with their harassment tactics. Barely halfway through the song, they interrupted halfway through the song with an advert. In my mind, that is lowdown and nasty and only makes me more determined not to subscribe as I don't give in to bully behaviour.
This is the time we need revival the most and to be refreshed of the LORD. Revive us always. My all time song.

Revival ! - Thats what we need - the well is so dry - Frantz Olfert / Denmark
So needed!
Been listen to this set for YEARS. Very few musicians can move me quite the same way. Upbeat - without being too "rock and roll ish. Thank You.

Used to love playing and singing this song by Robin Mark "Revival" with our band "Spirit Rising" years back. It's still in my heart and soul.
You Tube are so rotten with their harassment tactics. Barely halfway through the song, they interrupted halfway through the song with an advert. In my mind, that is lowdown and nasty and only makes me more determined not to subscribe as I don't give in to bully behaviour.
Send revival throughout this land
I pray for our church in America. Help us Jesus to come together under the banner of what you did for us on the cross.
You can sing and talk all you like about revival. It will never happen. The Church is in apostasy and the situation is not aided by singing like this.
I love all the songs from Robin Mark
I've been singing this song out of nowhere. I have last listened to it years ago. Its powerful.
Robin mark still is one of my favorite sings. I love your song, it reminds me of when I was growing up
