This was super fun, I just realized this movie was actually good. Loved the way Jaby laughed at Anupam Kher's antics. He used to regularly play comic roles in the 90s and always nailed it. Can't wait for the part 2.
Me and my older brother were in school when this movie came and after watching this movie, he bought the gap tshirts, cool necklace for him. All my girlfriends had the same hairstyle like kajol. This movie actually brought college style clothes trend to India. Manisha Malhotra got so much recognition because of his new age designs.

The cycling scene of kajol in kuch kuch hota hain in a group outdoors ended in mild accident. She fell down and was out for quite sometime, the whole team including karan johar were really worried. Archana Puran Singh as Miss Briganza she really rocks. And her comedy timing with Anupam Kher was amusing. 😂🤣😂👍

This was super fun, I just realized this movie was actually good. Loved the way Jaby laughed at Anupam Kher's antics. He used to regularly play comic roles in the 90s and always nailed it. Can't wait for the part 2.
This movie is basically exact opposite of what happens in K3G because he chooses Rani over Kajol. KJo applied the rule of Karma to his own characters.

This movie actually brought college style clothes trend to India. Manisha Malhotra got so much recognition because of his new age designs.
More than anything, it's Jaby's laughter that makes me smile... Love u guys

*Fun fact* : For this movie no actress wanted to do Rani Mukherji's role. Karan johar went to so many actresses but all rejected the role as they felt the audience wouldn't notice that character with Kajol and SRK's chemistry. Ultimately Karan johar took this role to Rani who was a newcomer that time and this movie changed her career! ❤️ Also, he used her original voice for the first time in her career as compared to other directors who never liked Rani's voice that time as they felt it was unusual and dubbed her always.
This was my favorite movie growing up! Since my crush (later high school boyfriend) knew this was my favorite movie, he used to call me up randomly just to inform me about the channel to tune into whenever this movie was aired. That's how I knew my crush also has a crush on me. Fond memories with this one
The only thing I don't like about the movie is that they show that a woman has to change her dressing style in order to make people fall in love with her.

i think you misunderstood this thing here. actually she changed her dressing style because of her interest for him. she wanted to be liked by him, loved by him.. as far as he doesn't like girls who dress up like boys.. and it's absolutely ok for anyone to have different choices & desires.. and she did it only for him & not for others or society..

They should make realistic remakes of 90's movies like Mohabbatein 2021 where Aryan is a schizophrenic who keeps seeing and talking to his dead girlfriend or KKHH 2021 where Aman nearly beats up someone else's child to death for destroying his wedding by being sneaky. And the child poisons him as revenge because an 8 year old who can destroy weddings has to be an evil genius. I think I was still eating my boogers at that age.

The cycling scene of kajol in kuch kuch hota hain in a group outdoors ended in mild accident. She fell down and was out for quite sometime, the whole team including karan johar were really worried.
