Bubble bar: slightly soft and most of the time in shapes like the one you were using, you break a bit off and crumble it under the tap whilst the bath is running to create a lot of bubbles. Bubble bath: most of the time circular in shape, and feels like it would break if you crushed it in your hand, and feels slightly more dry compared to the bubble bar, this you just put in the bath and it will fizz.
