The Prodigy - The Beat (1990-1991 Demo)

The second demo tape was originally given to a mate of Keith Flint's, Kean by Leeroy Thornhill when Kean accompanied them playing bongos live on stage at the rave event Eclipse '91.
Leeroy had given the tape to Kean to help him learn the material they'd be performing. The tape had stayed "underground" until now. In collaboration with www.brainkiller.it the tape was finally revealed to the "masses" some 15 years later.

Argh man I remember sitting as a youngster listening to kiss when it was pirate station with finger on record button recording all the toons I liked. Always remember everybodys in da place being played first time ever heard it and it was like heaven had sent the perfect toon. Plus all production house music ,acen . Trip 2 moon .wow what memorys .no matter how good music gets and club nights nothing will match the beginning off rave ,hardcore,hardcore Jungalism,happy hardcore,jungle.PRIVILEGED!

i have loads of my homemade "mix" tapes from back in the day , recording off Dream fm, Don Fm and Kiss , hearing Charly blew my mind along with Trip to the moon, they still sound like from another planet.
