The podcast is a year old, and I'm drawing a picture of Martin Aparijo for another old SoCal BMXer, I was looking for a Martin podcast to listen to while I worked. This came up, and I knew I had to listen to an hour of Large Ray stories. Freakin' great. Totally reminds me of my own early days stumbling into the industry and meeting everyone. Great podcast, I need to check out more of these.

Hey… I remember meeting Gary Pollack at a Haro demo back in 1986 at a bike shop I worked at in center city Philadelphia. Dude was a small kid maybe a little bigger than Scotty Freeman.
Anyways Gary knew tricks that were difficult and not yet in the magazine’s…
I remember his name because the kid had bad ass tricks. I’m pretty sure the rider from Haro were pretty impressed.
