Justice Malala - one of South Africa’s foremost political commentators and founding co-host of The Burning Platform - is visiting South Africa with his new book titled, ‘The Plot to Save South Africa’. Gareth Cliff sits down with him to discuss some history about the Chris Hani era, both before and after his assassination - as well as some of South Africa’s current issues and possible solutions to get the country back to where it needs to be.

I was 9 years old and we were on holiday in Cape Town when Chris Hani was murdered. I remember being on top of table mountain and being able to see the Riots on the streets of Cape Town.

Looooooong time follower with lots of respect for Justice, but yo! He sounds like every other South African lucky enough to escape the hell scape that is SA. Blames everything on Verwoerd(the white man), yet still unable to build anything or come up with any real solutions for today. It's all just silly talk but thats why we like him.. Good to see he's not got an Yankee accent or lost his sense of humour...
