I used to coach 7th and 8th grade in the early 2000s. These kids are several levels more talented than some of the best kids I have seen at this level.
Hell nah, my seventh grade games are way, way more intense then this. I know you said you coached in the early 2000s but no. I dont know what league you were coaching but…🤨
The blue guy #8 is gonna go somewhere, he's got good plays, smart moves and good accuracy aswell as good handles. He also doesn't let any of the other players get to him and he stays calm... Im impressed

These kids are the most talented 5th graders I have ever seen. Their fundamentals are quite good. They are better than alot of high school players I have witnessed.
Every single 5th grader was playing great but the player who I thought was the most consistent was the blue player in #8, He’s confident and considering about the court. Davis has brilliant play makings, great handles, attacks the basket and has good shooting range. He has a huge future whilst only being in 5th grade. Great work boys! 👍🏾
Haven't played ball for 30 years. I love the way the kids play with and for the team. I love the moment number 8 stops them fight and brings his team mate back in focus. I wish I knew these fine fellas when I was their age. I hope these guys live like they play
Blue 33 is an absolute baller! Plays with energy, looks for his teammates, great handle and great D. I’d put money on the fact he goes to the NBA 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
#24 in blue reminds me a bit of Kurt Rambis in his playing style and aggression. If he can ease the emotion a little and start taking a few more 3-pointers instead of forcing the inside game so much, he'll be a force to be reckoned with. And not sure why no comments I can see about # 8 in green! My man is a straight baller!
Number 33 on blue has some great awareness. Very smart baller. Number 8 on blue is also great, even though he seemed to miss many of the shots from the paint
I will show this to my 11 year old neighbor who thinks he wants to play team/competitive basketball in middle school next year. Maybe, maybe, he will believe me about "fundamentals."
I’m 11 and the games are really like this I broke a kids ankles and bro shoved me he was like 3 inches shorter than me so I didn’t really care that much
Blue team looks loaded 😂 #8 has awesome mechanics and fluidity. # 33 is incredibly well rounded Ann’s has tremendous IQ (watch him in those passing lanes) & #24 goggles is THE MAN !!! I watched him the most this game and he’s TOUGH, peep his demeanor the kid is a HOOPER!. It’s refreshing !
It's watching these kids play like this at this young age is why March madness is what it is. More and more talent spread out among teams and anybody can win it.

Number 8 Blue was dominate in the paint but number 0 green showed he ain’t the one to play with either. All these kids were great. Takes me back. Wish I could see video of me playing. Good luck and God Bless to all these youngsters on their life journey
Agreed. I mean we all thinking it. But if u have played since 4 or 5.(I'm 43 and have) and coached 20 yr give it take. And have 3 sons 12 to 21 you have watched. It's hard to not wonder. I can see why the kid with the rec specs is starting at point. Great game, I coached high school and they would cry during practice. I no longer coach lol
Great competitiveness! I enjoyed this better than any level of women's basketball. Great coaching and/or parenting here. These kids play hard. No soft players here. Great lesson. Play hard or go home. Best thing I've seen in sports for awhile.

These kids can play great, it’s all pure n it’s basketball. Now I go back to video, hopefully they don’t fight or parents (we are biggest problem) get involved.
Exactly why sports are unwatchable now... can't imagine how bad it'll be in another 20 years. Just play hard you don't have to beat your chest because you made a shot. That said these guy's are pretty good but without the right body they're hooping days are short lived outside of parkball.
