@@seanh6127 I was potentially thinking if I upgraded from my MKZ I would go with a Corsair but since finding out this exist I will go with another maker before going to an SUV.
I hate SUVs, never been a fan of them besides a Wrangler. I just loves sedans and Americans know how to build good sedans. I wish and want Lincoln to bring this to the states. It could sell like hot cakes!
If not for tariffs it probably would have. They wouldn't sell enough sedans to make it worth it to make and sell them here, but without the tariffs they would have been able to ship over enough to sell.
Ford: "yeah, this is easily one of the most luxurious designs we've ever had in any of our vehicles, let's NOT sell it in the US (where our company is from)"
I understand that China is a big market potential. BUT! How many Chinese could even afford this sedan.vs the average buyer in the USA. Doesn't make sense to me.
I’m with you. They are going to lose us long term Lincoln owners because they don’t even have a car option anymore. I’ve been buying MKZ’s for the past 15+ years and have owned 5 or 6. It’s extremely disappointing that they don’t even care about keeping their loyal customers happy.
With the $$ it would cost you to import and have it approved for US roads, you might as well just buy a car here for $60-70K. Cost of car + import fees and road approval, it will end up costing you that much.
WELL....if Americans were still of a NORMAL AVERAGE WEIGHT and not a bunch of FAT HOGS like we have BECOME, Ford's Lincoln (and GM's Buick division) sedans would still be available HERE! I guess I'll be keeping my 2020 Lincoln Continental until the wheels fall off and it's a rust bucket then, because I will NEVER own, nor do I even want to drive, an SUV of ANY kind, luxury or otherwise, and after my last 2 Cadillac sedan LEMONS, I won't patronize THAT brand ever again, either! I've ridden in a Lincoln Navigator; you know how a Ford F-150 pickup truck rides? Yeah....very comparable, I was EXTREMELY disappointed; I don't know what I had expected....other than a nice, pleasant, SOFT, QUIET ride, along with some isolation from the road and traffic noise....and for THAT sticker price, it could and SHOULD be at least as supple as a classic American luxury sedan! Silly me for having such high expectations for a new luxury vehicle that is SO EXPENSIVE, my first HOUSE didn't cost as much! Cadillac Escalades ride even WORSE than that!! Thanks, Detroit. NOT!
Newest Escalade is better in this regard, but along with Navigator are overpriced compared to competition. Aviator drives nicely. Plenty of sedans on the market. 8 series, CLS, E coupe, Panamera. All solid and more reliable than any mythical reliable Toyota. Will look brand new at a million km and never rust. Just if you get a performance engine remember about maintenance
I am with you 100 percent, I love my 2017 Lincoln Continental, it is so sleek, comfortable, quiet, well put together, great materials, has all wheel drive and smooth power V6, a full glass roof, doors feel heavy, everything well done, Love the Continental, I really don't plan on ever selling it. I was so sad when Ford/Lincoln made the decision not to make cars in the United States, except for The Mustang and they sadly killed the Continental. Really sucks. I agree part of the reason we don't have nice sedans, is Americans are way too fat. I will admit I am a little overweight, but not horrible or out of control. I also think the other reason the sedans have died, is Americans feel safer in a SUV, like having a hatch instead of a trunk and they like sitting higher up. When I take my Continental in to the dealer for it's oil change and yearly inspection. I have driven the Navigator and Aviator, they are nice, Aviator rides better than Navigator, but both are just not the same as the Continental. Plus Continental looks so good interior and exterior. I hope Ford/ Lincoln one day brings back the Continental or even this Zephyr. It is July 2023, there are recently rumors that Ford is bringing back the Taurus to the United States. We will see if they bring back a Lincoln car as well. I hope
This look like an updated version or the Lincoln MKZ. Same body, frame and designs. Not sure why they discontinued it, but it's rebirth is in China. Go figure. Smh
I'm pretty sure you can get AWD on these, but if you don't like the engine configuration....for whatever your reason(s) might be, yeah, I guess you're out of luck. However, one of the best and most reliable cars I ever owned was the same engine and design, so again....these are great cars in my experience.
This seriously needs to come to the states.
It baffles me that an American luxury car company would produce a sedan exclusively for china.

@@seanh6127 They probably get paid boatloads of money by Chinese execs to make exclusive cars for China.

Ford letting go of sedans is making me sad
Ford no longer makes cars in the US. Only SUVs, because that's what customers want. U.S. market; bigger, stronger, heavier!
I understand that China is a big market potential. BUT! How many Chinese could even afford this sedan.vs the average buyer in the USA. Doesn't make sense to me.
Yes, Lincoln decided to let anyone wanting a car not a SUV, to buy a Cadillac, Lexus or Mercedes. They like Buick is just selling cars in China
I saw this in Ft Myers uncamo'd and it's beautiful, can't wait
Get smart Lincoln we need this Luxury sedan in the US and even a high performance model -
I don't want another SUV to replace my 2020 Lincoln MKZ
Exactlyyyyy!!!!
Then buy a different brand, you don't have to stick with Lincoln. 4 series, 8 series, CLS, E Coupe, lots of cars to choose from

Please Lincoln, bring this to the US.
WOW 4:53
Actually that knocking thing gives you better idea about the quality of the materials car is made of. Quite smart I'd say.
I was like found my next car, then figures out it is only for Chinese market : )
I mean technically u can ship one over.really expensive tho
Never understood why America's always get basic non exciting vehicles and China gets the cream of the crop I would buy this in a heartbeat
0:27 damn, why so aggressive with the water bottle?
How much this beautiful car ?
