I have a theory on why you start on octane: the first map in the timeline when you beat agitato: the last map in the timeline. You are in a time loop. No matter how much you beat them, you are unable to escape this flood escaping terror. At least, not for long. Something is keeping you here, and it will not let you go. At least... not for today. (Don’t get mad at me because it shows here that agitato was the first. I’m going by the other timelines.)
Agitato is first because at the end of every map it says the map names and completed, agitato is first there and you could be stuck in hell because of the infinite loop and it makes sense because agitato looks more like hell
What they changed the song for Octane that was from one of my favorite artists Creo I'm not mad but I just like seeing my favorite underrated artists anywhere on the internet

I know how to solve your problem with your mouse and its easy,first go to setting on roblox,then go to camera movement then change it to "Keyboard+Mouse",then everything will be fixed! (Also it happend to me too)
