Awesome vlog. Thanks for this. Going to Penn State this fall and wanted to see a day in the college students life and with Temple being similar to Old State it put things in perspective. I live in Philly so be cautious when your walking late at night like that.

And thanks for the concern! my dorm was only a 5 minute walk from campus and it's common for a lot of people to be walking home that late from the library and there are numerous bike cops that passed me walking home! I've done it many times this year and have always been fine.

I actually went to temple university with my school for a EOY trip and your campus is pretty nice. I also love the the night lights. :-)
Oh god Anderson is by far the most confusing building on campus. Also check out the owls nest on the 4th floor of Tuttleman for a good study spot, it got me through second semester lol

Lol. The entire time I lived in Morgan North, I might have went to the buffet like 5 times. I usually ate Tony Luke's and the diner. Probs why I gained 10lbs that year.

HAHA it's okay! and this was Morgan Hall South, but currently I live in Temple Towers. I wouldn't recommend freshman to live in there though because it's mostly upper classmen and sophomores.

We had a college road trip and we were in philly but we didn't have time to check out temple :( hopefully I can try again in the fall

I am going to Temple's open house on saturday. I am graduating this year from CCP and i am planning to major in Psychology. What is Temple like ? How are the classes?
1104Koolkat classes are awesome if you get a great professor who can teach! Also they vary from lecture to small classes! You usually always have small classes once you get more into your major. But towards the question of "what is temple like".. you'll get a better feel of it when you visit. I can't really put my feelings about it into words. And it varies for everybody. Can't wait for you to visit:)
What kind of GPA does temple normally accept and i heard you have to take an assessment test. Is that true?
What do you do at your job at the tech center?
Can you do a campus tour? Like library dining hall laundry room ect. (Like the on campus facilities)
+Angelina McGuire i'm actually not allowed to film inside other facilities on the campus because of privacy policy reasons. I would have to get permission from someone and that could take a while! I would if i could though!

It's orange:) and no we didn't! Every dorm has a colored wall and it could be orange, green, or blue:)

I'm a freshmen at temple too! and this is probably a weird question to ask, but how did you get your job at the tech? I've been trying to get a job on campus but I'm having a hard time finding some
My cousin worked at the tech until she graduated last year and she let me use her as a reference when I applied. At the tech, you kind of have to know someone who already works there to get a job. But not always! They hire every semester so just apply to different places!
i will be attending temple in the fall and also taking macroeconomics and legal environment of business at 8 am!

Annie Chen As a freshman I would say stick to public transportation, housing is expensive. Last time I checked there were no on campus dormitories, only off campus housing
Lastly, yes temple is pretty diverse 👌
There are on campus dorms! I would say it’s up to your preference. If you want a communal style dorm with no bathroom attached to your room then pick j&h.. the rest a suite style so white hall, 1940, 1300, Morgan or temple towers (but I don’t think you can live in towers as a freshman.. not positive)
And yes Temple’s is very diverse!
These are the dorms? Are the graduate school dorms much more expensive?
There aren’t any specific graduate dorms, so the prices on the website are the set prices:)

I'm absolutely in love with Temple. If there's a program your interested in and temple is well known for it I would highly recommend looking into this school. It's never too early to start looking at colleges. Once you find some then you can work your hardest so that you know you'll get in.
