A rare, orange, 14.82 carat diamond called The Orange has sold for nearly 36 million dollars at an auction in Geneva. Billed the largest orange diamond in the world by Christie's, the stone called The Orange weighs approximately 14.82 carats. The sale comes just a day before a huge and rare pink diamond is expected to fetch more than $60 million at auction. The Pink Star, which weighs 59.60 carats, is said to be the most valuable diamond offered at auction. Report by Andrea Lilly.

I think this orange diamond should be in Minecraft now!
Rarity: Much rarer than emerald ore. It's tougher than netherite items and cannot be destroyed using explosions or the void.

Those are lab grown gemological diamonds means fake, we can scratch that with real diamond. That diamonds become expensive because of pieces of paper, or known Certificate, without its nothing but a brilliant stone treated from silicon carbide.

The second largest fancy vivid orange diamond, the one they mention in the video, is the Pumpkin Diamond, at 5.54 carats. The huge pink diamond was formerly known as the Steinmetz Pink

If you think about it, why would someone spend a fortune on a small diamond? A small rock that could get lost easily? What is the person even going to do with it, look at it and that's it? People could spend that amount of money of a nice trip or something.

Makes me sick, thinking about it, when there's approximately 40% of world's people struggling, trying simply to survive, on $2 a day. #GREED #SadReality #NoShame #Stupid! #Insanity
