I follow both of you guys...would love to see you at long drive event Micah. I'm a youthful 63 years old and feel inspired to watch you and your buds play. I love the game as much today as I did at 33.
Keep up this informative and professional effort. I am a mid 50's disabled Veteran and started golfing 6 years ago. I have been following your whole group for a year now and really like how i get to witness everyone's improvements. It gives me hope.
Seriously impressed by how much knowledge Kyle has about the physics and biology behind this. Shows how much dedication goes into it on top of building muscle
You explain more about the way a bad technique feels and make it understandable. I got more from this video than I have from many other 'improve your drive' videos videos out there. I could regurgitate the theory, but barely understand the way it should feel. Thank you, keep it up!!!
Love it Kyle is a true champion who cares more about the sport and the people then winning!!! That is rare these days in professional sports. I only see it now in the smaller sports where the community is more like family. You can compete to win and still care about the people you compete with win or lose!! Keep that up Kyle and u will continue to be a champion!!! Micah you have that same spirit it’s why I love following your channel as well as the others!!!! Please never lose that spirit!!!
Thanks for all the tips Kyle! And thanks Tig for documenting your practices. Please keep up with these training and coaching videos! I’m also benefiting from it and it has brought up my club speed to 132mph
I feel like I am going to be watching one of these vlogs one day and Kyle is going to have that "oh crap" moment when he figures out he is creating his competition. LOL
Kyle is a legit champion. I think he’s okay if he’s responsible for creating a better pool of competition TBH - it’s good for long drive and affords more opportunities outside of relying on him just winning
you guys need MORE sessions... lots of us are doing this on our own with no other guidance than a few videos here and there from y'all. So keep making them!
Loving the process. Learning a ton. Kyle is a great teacher. He is gifted at imparting his knowledge and experience. Look forward to the next vid....and the long drive comp in March
Man keep this up just enjoy this so much I’ve. Even golfing for over 20 years and what i’ve learned so much watching this is more than I can you tell in the last 20 years
Awesome vid Micah. As Kyle is explaining the stance/shift to you I'm also in my room working on my stance/shift. Also enjoy how Kyle really gets into detail and explains why every mechanics is important. Keep it up homie. I know for sure we will be seeing you soon on long drive tours
All the info from these training vids has been an awesome help. Definitely vlog the long drive competition and keep killing it Micah! Kyle you may be training a new rival !!!
I've been watching a ton of Kyle's vids. This guy speaks like straight up genius when it comes to the movements of the swing. I know he is working towards tour golf, but if that doesn't pan out, I could see him charging top dollar as a coach.
this is a really good story in the making. have you guys been in contact with any golf journalists or other media? i feel like youtube is a great medium to document and share the story from your guys' perspectives, but i hope other media cover what you're doing because it's truly inspirational, and there are plenty of people outside of youtube who (i'm sure) would love to come along for the ride. keep grinding and can't wait to see you compete!!! 💪💪💪
I'm always surprised that some of these huge channels are never mentioned in main stream media I think the mainstream media knows that this is there competition and soon this is what will take over
As a minor league pitcher with the New York Mets I love watching these because a lot of the movements that you are training are very similar to how to throw a baseball hard. Keep going with this Micah!
That is why the best MLB golfers are pitchers. You look back at Glavine, Smoltz and Glavine were all + handicaps (under par). Grienke, Verlander, Wainwright, Stammen, Yates, Graveman, Clippard and Lohse are all scratch golfers. QB's is the same like Romo, Breeze, Roethlisberger, Ryan and Bradford, Brandon Wheedon, Derek Anderson, are all scratch golfers and P. Manning, Rodgers, Brady, E. Manning, Stafford and Marino are all 5 handicap and better. Introducing power from your legs is key and easily transferable from throwing to golfing. Good luck in your career!
Fun to watch guys! Been losing some distance lately and I will be working on loading into my right leg . I definitely sway and don’t activate my turn and load effectively. Thanks for that !
Great video !! Tig, u got the best in the world teaching u, no doubt u'll go far !! Kyle, u are fun to watch. You prove how great technique always wins out. (and ..... u are a super nice, and a humble guy .... just awesome)
Awesome video guys. Excited to see fist event! Great demonstrations of shift and release. Loved the content and think you guys make a great team. Really cool to see the journey to LD.
i would love to see more of this stuff, for instance what you guys do in the gym to beef up your muscles and what kind of stretches you do to stay flexible. I want to gain some swingspeed and more ballspeed. I am getting 50 next year and i am swinging my 7 iron about 98 mph, ballspeed around 120+. I dont want to lose speed at my age...i want to gain even more. Speed is such a good drug.
Bro I am so happy for all of you guys, all of you guys content is awesome. I have been trying to follow kyle's lessons on the rang to see if I can increase my speed as well. I am going to work on all of this next session.
Dude congrats your the man!! I’ll be following your journey!! Heads up Watch your left ankle on your follow through!! You don’t want to ruin that joint over time!! It’s rolling over really hard but your swing is amazing
I love this series and that Tig’s taking it seriously, but please take care of your body. Rest, condition, recover, ice bath, whatever you need to do man.
Micah, what is your height and weight for us watching to use as reference, also is the reason for a cut down driver to give more of a fairway finder feel since you have lots of distance already. Thanks in advance. Great Channel
find a course with straight par 3's & 4's and take these distance attempts to the outdoors to see how natural wind patterns and the weather affects the training. make use of a trackman and overhead drone to keep track of ball flights and whether they're landing inbounds. glad someone fixed the sound problem. best of luck at the attempts.
Thought you were gonna make it to 400yards .. hope to see do that one day .. good video as always .. All best on your path to long drive debut..! It is really Cool that Kyle trains you ..
Micah do you use any training aids? Such as the super speed sticks or speed stik (?). Are you lifting weights and if so is it mostly leg work? Thanks and really enjoy the videos. I am looking forward to the both of you lighting up the long drive tournaments
Yo, thanks to the both of you for this! You both have such humble and positive personalities that it really just makes me happy to watch you guys play. Quick question for you, today I was able to get my swing speed to 134mph (cause ya'll are now making me obsessed with trying to swing faster lol) and I felt like I FLUSHED it. However, the ball speed was only 185mph and the spin rate was 4k. That was using a stiff flex shaft and a 7 degree head. I'm considering getting a more "long drive focused" driver and am wondering what you might recommend? Obviously, I know, Callaway xD But I mean more in terms of head loft and potentially shafts that might get me less spin? Thanks guys! Can't wait to see Micah and Kyle duking it out in the long drive finals! ;)
Loving these results! I went and tested out drivers today and my Epic Flash was giving me spin rates around 3500, but I tried the TSI3 and got below 2000 and added about 15 yards. Are you thinking of changing drivers to get that spin down on your long drive driver? I imagine you want that spin down!
I would be interested to know about the interference effect in training for a pro golfer forced to walk the course and speed training/strength training that long drivers do. Kyle you mentioned training the nervous system. I know that training fast twitch A/B fibres take time and lots of rest between sessions, and then walking a course alot would de-train too. Do you have any thoughts or info?
I have NO DOUBT Tig at some point will be smashing the long ball right next to K.B. in long drive tournaments in the future ! Letsssss Gooooooo Tiggggggggggg🤘🏼
I follow both of you guys...would love to see you at long drive event Micah. I'm a youthful 63 years old and feel inspired to watch you and your buds play. I love the game as much today as I did at 33.

This content is great, love to see you getting better every time!

YES PLEASE ON THE LONG DRIVE COMP VLOGS!!!!! I really really like this series.
You explain more about the way a bad technique feels and make it understandable. I got more from this video than I have from many other 'improve your drive' videos videos out there. I could regurgitate the theory, but barely understand the way it should feel. Thank you, keep it up!!!
So much golf knowledge in one video. Amazing work from Kyle and Tig

DAMN! Maybe you should do long drive
@@bradyneal9243 I’m seriously considering trying it out. I’m in the perfect scenario to train for it.

Kyle is a legit champion. I think he’s okay if he’s responsible for creating a better pool of competition
TBH - it’s good for long drive and affords more opportunities outside of relying on him just winning
He swings a club as fast as I’ve driven a car 🤯
So glad to see them keep going with the training
I love how Kyle breaks things down, sooo easy to understand. 👍🏻
Absolutely love this series of showing Tigs progress. I swing at 130mph and could def. Use Kyle's insight on how to gain more speed. Keep it up boys
you guys need MORE sessions... lots of us are doing this on our own with no other guidance than a few videos here and there from y'all. So keep making them!
Micah - what is your “feel” when you really want to step on one? And would you say it feels more like speeding up the arms or speeding up the body?
Loving the process. Learning a ton. Kyle is a great teacher. He is gifted at imparting his knowledge and experience. Look forward to the next vid....and the long drive comp in March
Impressive, you need to throw out a challenge to txg & alex etches
That would be a good watch. I'd be pulling for my countryman! #TEAMAL
Man keep this up just enjoy this so much I’ve. Even golfing for over 20 years and what i’ve learned so much watching this is more than I can you tell in the last 20 years

WOW! So much valuable information in here. I also didn't know Micah had that much power too. Great stuff.
Out of all channels. Love this the most.. keep grinding
Well besides Kyle's haha
I noticed Harris English last weekend with a smooth tempo, but super fast right at the bottom. it is a good swing to model.
Dude congrats your the man!! I’ll be following your journey!! Heads up Watch your left ankle on your follow through!! You don’t want to ruin that joint over time!! It’s rolling over really hard but your swing is amazing

Imagine a long drive final between you & Kyle!
Would love to see you out at the first event! Keep up the great work!
This is one of the best videos I’ve seen in a while.
It was extremely informative. No nonsense. All great information.
Thank you!
Can you do a video with Kyle on irons? I’m curious to know if it’s a similar motion in terms of generating that power with your legs.
Please post more and vlog the long drive competition
Do it....this is fun to watch...good luck at Long Drive.
Hey, this is a great series. Good work.
Cant wait to see to see the blog of your first competition!!!
Vlog I mean- stupid autocorrect!

Definitely vlog Micah’s first long drive event.
I was hurting just watching Micahs left ankle turn after all of those drives.:D
Great tips and great videos! Keep thinking Micah’s lead ankle is snapping in those last bombs though
This is a great video! Can u do more of these can we do more of these!!
Looks like Kyle let a beast out of his cage!! love to see it!!
Which competition are you going to in March? I'm starting to participate in long drives as well. It would be awesome to see you all there!
Please please please vlog the long drive events
Micah do you use any training aids? Such as the super speed sticks or speed stik (?). Are you lifting weights and if so is it mostly leg work?

Yo, thanks to the both of you for this! You both have such humble and positive personalities that it really just makes me happy to watch you guys play.
Quick question for you, today I was able to get my swing speed to 134mph (cause ya'll are now making me obsessed with trying to swing faster lol) and I felt like I FLUSHED it. Try using a Bridgestone Tour BX or ProV1x. Not even just for long drive but in general. Best 2 balls IMO for distance.
@5:04 @8:06
such good demos... thankyou
You will be there in March. Keep up the grind brother!!
133.9 with a 42 inch club is insane awesome to see the gains
Much love to you both!!!!
Quick question!
what happens to your right feet on the "loading" of the back swing? should it be flat or it can move a little.
Bro your front ankle looks like it’s about to snap!! Making progress!
I would be interested to know about the interference effect in training for a pro golfer forced to walk the course and speed training/strength training that long drivers do. Really curious and interested in watching the journey
I'd love to see Kyle work with a average to below average golfer like myself and see how much improvement there could be quickly!
This is fascinating. Keep it up!
Looking forward to the journey
Good to see Kyle back
If y'all didn't vlog Micah's debut in long drive then I would be highly disappointed. I think you can go far Micah.
