Three Little Words - Song of the Week 8

The Primitive Quartet is one of my favorite gospel singing groups of all time. If I had a list they would be in my top 3. They have somewhat of a unique style as they blend exceptional bluegrass instrumentation with traditional gospel songs. Mike Riddle, Jeff Tolbert, and Randy Fox are some of my favorite musicians ever, and Reagan Riddle is an outstanding songwriter. The most important part of their group is that they are very anointed when they sing. I have been blessed tremendously by their music over the years. About 10 years ago the Primitive Quartet came to my area in Troy, Alabama to sing. They came twice within a 3 or 4 year period and I was blessed to be able to be a part of opening for them both times. The first time they came their long time tenor singer Norman Wilson was still alive. The second time they came he had passed away. I remember him being full of joy and am glad I was able to see him in person. I also enjoyed meeting the other guys and had the opportunity to pick a little bit with Mike Riddle after the singing.
This song is special to me as I sang it at my youngest child’s baby dedication service. We definitely don’t say these three words enough. To all the people that support this channel please know that I love you. Most of all God loves you.
