Happy New Year folks! Just a heads up. Nethalythic put out a patch for this mod that lets us control and set skills levels within the MCM. Huge quality of life improvement. You'll see that in Day 3 VOD when it goes up. Streaming day 4 of this today as it's been such a joy to play this way
Love the videos, have only ever been a temporary stream lurker like twice, I don't speak for us all. But I feel like whatever you do next, Skyrim or otherwise, make it something that you just absolutely love, like something that just tickles you pink to your core kinda thing. Or ya know do whatever you want cause, it's your channel lmao but a lot of us only watch because you're the MC here not because we just HAVE to see what Skyrim mods you're using (although they are usually top tier) so do with that what you will man, happy new years!
Hey Joov, you should have Nethalythic create a mod that has a random set of specific rules, and if you break one, you die (or something negative), but the catch is that you don't know the rules and the point is that you have to try to guess them. And it would be like, if you pick up a single free floating piece of gold, or if you kill a slaughterfish, or something like that. Not sure if it's even possible, but trying to guess the rules in a stream would be hilarious!
cannibalism isn't actually strictly illegal in most US states (you have to commit a lot of crimes to get to cannibalism in the first place so it's redundant) unless that state has had specific issues with cannibalism in the past (Idaho)
im gonna have to google a few things. but also i think laws about cannibalism can be a little funny because of the nature of how laws are made based on things having to happen first. Like how cannibalism at sea is pretty lax back in the day given it was seen as a necessity.
It’s even technically 100% legal in some places if you list it in your will that someone can consume parts of you. That way there’s no other crime like murder or desecration happening either.
Not sure if it’s intentional or not but I’ve been loving the increased use of relaxing music on these streams, like during the character creation for example
Lmao you said "You're waking people up that youtube autoplayed this stream with those notifications " that's exactly how I found your channel. It was annoying at waking up to a random guy at a desk talking to his chat, but after watching for a while, your pretty entertaining 😅
They're so OP, but for the burn the hives mission I always nab the shadowsilk robes from The Shadow Stone dude (he's a named NPC but I don't remember it)
Oh wow, I've been working on my own system to prevent players (aka me) from using every skill. It semi-similar, but not quite so restricting and also more flexible. I've put a lot of work into it so far and it's almost done. I would love for it to be in mod form, but I don't know how and I'm not sure I have the time to learn. When it's done I'll post a link to the google sheet that explains the rules. I'm doing a play through of it now and I really like it. If anyone reads this and is interested, I hope you try it out
Sounds neat! I'll be sure to check it out if I see it. Most of my notifications are off, but if someone smacks a like on my comment sometime after you've posted the link, that should summon me!
I love Joov trying to pickpocket in the middle of town, in broad daylight, and getting mad that he got caught. Imagine someone standing in a crowd BLATANTLY stealing phones, then screaming "It said 89% chance!!!" when caught.
making a prediction for run #2: mr joov finds the nearest gold mine and starts making expensive jewelry and crafting powerful armor. he gets to level 15 like it’s nothing, and starts the main quest line to get dragon bone/scales. makes dragon armor, becomes an unstoppable force, then does the thieves guild quest line up until the skeleton key is acquired. then, with his lock picking knowledge, can now break into any lock with essentially infinite lock picks, meaning EZ experience there. goes to solstheim, defeats mirraak for his armor, and becomes the most powerful mage in all of skyrim
Where is the Dragonborn DLC permadeath run? We are waiting.... There is a Permadeath mod that shows a summary of the char, how long survived how he died and so on. Ad Mortem permadeath And Live Another Life can let your start in the inn of the dlc, is more vanila friendly in my opinion
Onmund having his meager magical essence drained from his once warm body before being shouted into the rocky ceiling and having his soul ripped from his body by Jyrik Gauldersons cold dead hands. A Nords' last thoughts...shouldn't be so horrible. Me: 🎷🎶 cruisin on down main street 🎶🪇🕺
You should make it that if you kill a boss type enemy you can raise 1 other skill up by 5points and that's the only skill you can put more points into after every boss killed
Using modav to set the skill levels is the wrong way to do it because the skill is still technically starting at zero, only with a permanent bonus added to it. So for instance if you modav smithing 50, you will still be able to level up smithing from 0 to 100, and it would end up capping out at smithing 150 giving a much higher bonus to weapon & armor improvement that you would normally have. Using set or force is better if you intend for the skill to still cap out at vanilla levels. Although if you're not gaining a ton of levels in those skills in these permadeath runs it may not end up mattering.
You weren't ready for the fight with Nepos etc, but when you get to the end of his dialogue it starts just as suddenly and they would have kicked your butt regardless, if that makes you feel any better
You should divide the skills into damage, tank, and support categories, and you get one random skill from each category. That way all rolls are technically viable, Because you had rolled: smithing, lockpicking, block, You would have been fucked.
Nah, bash build is viable with vegetable stew. Nerbit did a vid and I've done my own playthrough, granted it's much easier with alchemy and enchanting lol.

I was so confused at the start, thought I clicked the wrong vid 😂
Same, I thought it was an ad at first 💀
So did I 😂

Great idea
That's is very intriguing. Good critical thinking ✨✨
THE INTRO GOES HARD ASF

Meat and potatoes, I get it.

17:00 the sabrecats are the vanilla cats in skyrim and you can pet them if you are daring

The music with the heartbeat around 01:43:00 is really dope!
😂😂😂
Imagine getting cyber bullied by your favorite streamer for pronouncing crochet correctly.
jeez he was really sassy
I think the argument with Chair was getting to him
They're so OP, but for the burn the hives mission I always nab the shadowsilk robes from The Shadow Stone dude (he's a named NPC but I don't remember it)
Looks like a LOTD addition but oooo these robes sound broken. Instant and constant invisibility that early is awesome though
When you finally decide to release merch, I think a meta "vooJ" (cant do a backwards J here but you get it) shirt would be amazing. Free idea 😉
And then when he'll wear it on stream it will be reverse meta 🤯

Yes! Intros are back

Such a shame too. Smithing has some perks that lets you make dwarwen turrets. Never seen them done before.
I wonder how many non random encounter cows are in the game. Kinda like the one say in whiterun
lmao, youtube autoplay bit was hilarious
The whole crochet bits was hilarious😂
Hey Joov! Is there somewhere to download the custom mods you get? Even as a Patreon/Channel member thing?
Joov forgetting the thieves guild hired those thugs was the highlight of run 3 😂
Watching this on shrooms

I'm not getting over him just ignoring the horse in the Silver-Blood Inn :D

I love permadeath yesss lmaoooo this was so good thank you.
When joov said Nathan it scared the shit out of me I thought my parents were calling for me
Now the entire internet knows who you are 👀
Hope you enjoy, unfortunately the audio is very muffled due to the action cams protected case. I'm still new to editing as well so critique kindly 😂
Had you picked a dark elf like chat wanted you wouldn't of died like that.😂
Ooh, hot off the press.
Happy New Year yall!
Hell yeah
Difference is method of pressing, I think it’s a cold press not 100% though I’m going back to sleep 540am joov seriously 🤣
guy at the start looks like if joov and dougdoug were one person
Dude the thumbnail is hilarious 😂
intro is my new voicemail
You weren't ready for the fight with Nepos etc, but when you get to the end of his dialogue it starts just as suddenly and they would have kicked your butt regardless, if that makes you feel any better
Hell of an opener
Horse back lights are on bro!

What loot mod does Joov use? I really want to try it but don’t think I’ve quite found it yet on the nexus.
Console command typing is great for background noise #1 !!
where my autoplay cancellers at?
I mostly watch the VODs. Do you make more money if I watch them here or on the purple platform?
Jokes on twitch chat, i only wake up for silence. Give Joov all the notifs!
That intro 😂
Is anyone gonna tell Joov he has to do dawngaurd for a crossbow, or does he have a mod for crossbows?
Do a run where you can only use speech and your bare hands
So, how is Squid Games this season? 😂
Prime (but not the shitty energy drink)
He sits at 3:08:53
