Beautiful painting! Question; does one express gouach from the tube to a palett box as with water color paints. Does it dry? Can it be reconstituded with water in the palett as with watercolor paint? I have purchased a set of G. paints but have not yet used them.

Is jelly gouach different than reg. gouach?

@@cherylj.harris4967 Yes gouache will dry if squeezed out of the tube and exposed to air for a long time! If you want to squeeze the colours out into a palette like watercolours, make sure you put it in an airtight container and mist it frequently. Once it dries out it’s difficult to bring it back to its original creamy consistency fresh out of the tube. The Himi gouache is a student grade gouache. I mist mines frequently so they stay fresh in the box!
