Hello! My wife has received her tatkal passport (reissue). The address mentioned in the passport is of her mother and father who stay alone (her permanent address). However she stays with me post marriage in my address. The police verification happened at her permanent address and when the police got to know that she stays in a different address post marriage, it looks like they have submitted an adverse report. Now there is an SCN status of which is 'Pending for dispatch by PO'. We have an international trip planned in next 5 days. Can we still travel? There are no appointments available at RPO for general enquiry too so the anxiety and ambiguity is taking a toll on us. Kindly guide and help.

Sir the birth certificate and LC are needed of both the parents or it's fine if we are having anyone parents document?
if parents birth date is before 1986 then no need to give such kind of certificate. but applicant's certificates are mandatory.

I m born in 1972 still and do not have my birth certificate and my DOB on my school leaving is wrong, as such not able to complete second time police verification. What should i do to cancel my first pp application. And if DOB will not match how can I proceed for second PP application
Close the first pp file and apply freshly. Or contact nearest passport office.
Ideally it should be address and criminal records only to be verified

My parents are not educated and i dont have birth certificate for ther how to do its pending for police varification for me.
Not an issue, you have to apply for delayed birth certificate, go to BDO office and inquire about it, they would tell you the process.

One of my Friend recently applied for normal passport. He received email that you will receive call for police verification. If not received within 3 week then please contact the police station.
However he received the passport without any call from police station.
I did not understand that How is it possible that passport is dispatched without verification? I would appreciate your response.
Usually for fresh passport all police station dont do address verification that can do done over calls too but yes document verification is mandatory he might get a call later on too
No i think it's post verification, which will occur after you receive the passport
