So glad to see another language ranking from you! Even though we don't agree much here, it was interesting to watch nevertheless! First I already disagree with your last 2 places, I don't love them, but I like them, I would also put Inés higher (but I have a soft spot for her Belle
First: *AMAZING EDITION!* Well, I'm sad for Maria, I like her a lot. Celia is just my favorite voice of Castilian! I don't agree, much. Virginia ♥ She's really amazing!
For me, Celia would be higher and Angela much lower. I'm so glad to see María in a high place like Gema, who are among my favourites. Elvira and Virgina toally deserve the top 2. Great ranking!
I'm still in Spain Mode wanting to watch this. I've had a lot of problems with Castilian dubs historically, there aren't that many voices that I really love. So it ends up being the character connection that separates the goods from the bads. That's why Carmen Lopez has ended up alright for me - I think her voice is mid but her enthusiasm is contagious. I forgot about Elvira - that's a really good one.
Pour Inés, je la trouve très adorable et tout mignonne, but I also hear this “innocence” singing that you mentioned on your Belle (’91) ranking about Jana Mařasová’s, that I can’t hear on Jana’s Belle, because to me sounds mature and it’s her Ariel who sounds innocent. :) Et où est Giselle ? o.O Your top 2 is a masterpiece, as always. Can’t wait for Catalan one :)
I would place some voices higher, such as Celia Vegara, Chila Lynn and Gisela Llado Canovas some places lower especially for Angela Aloy and Maria Parrado. My favorite voices of Spain are Chila Lynn, Carmen Lopez and Virgina and of course Gisela, I'm Gisela's fans. Especially her Giselle.
Lol, you confused the Tiana singer with the French one... That's Chila Lynn. And I agree mostly, except that I like Caneda as Ariel, her voice is sometimes annoying but her actual rendition is quite good to me.
We don't agree that much, sadly, but you have such a nice way of telling your thoughts that I can't be bothered. My main disagreements are Sol and María Parrado, that never captured my attention. However, I'm glad to see another Ángela and Carmen praiser. My favourite Castilian role of Ángela is Nala, but is such a short part! Lydia and Elvira as Mulan and Cinderella respectively, something I never know I needed until now. Very neat editing, it looks very elegant.
Samah y Almudena Sfakianakis oh thank you very much that was really nice! I’m always glad to hear that! Yeah my fav role of Angela is also Nala, but I don’t include this character anymore due to the shortness of her parts. I’m glad you agree with that. And what would you think of Virginia as Ariel?
charguigou Oh, I would have loved her, I forgot to say that. Her voice is so beautiful, she's so passionate and so in character, that she would have nailed it. She's just breathtaking, and her performance could have been a masterpiece between all those great Ariels. You have very keen ears, you should work as a dubbing director!
Thanks for the namedrop!!! That trait is not always bad, as I find Rachel Pignot has it too, but its more common that it's annoying than when its good. I've always had my problems with Castilian dubs unfortunately. Angela does indeed sound better as Odette, I never took the time to notice. I find the non-Disney girls are better in Castilian than the disney ones!
Ranee MacIntosh I agree with you. I'll always have problems with Castilian dubbings for the same reason. I cannot really connect to the singers.. Everything sounds so fake
1:03-1:19: Not only Gisela sang as Elsa in the Castilian (European) Spanish dubbing for Frozen, but you forgot to put Gisela as Giselle, too, because she also sang as her in the Castilian (European) Spanish dubbing for Enchanted.
And also, when are going to upload Part 5 for the Language Battles for the Non/Disney Princesses & Heroines: Castilian (European) Spanish (Castellano) Vs. Latin (American) Spanish (Español)?
I would put Gisela, Yolanda and Celia higher, i love Carmen too :3, i can say i agree with your top 5, your number 1 is amazing :33. You are always so perfect in this, ¿How old are you?
I was sure about your top 2 voices, if it was not Virginia and Elvira then who? ;) I am not sure about Elvira as Cinderella and Lydia as Mulan, I see your point though. I agree Anna whould be a fantastic Ariel. We agree preety much on everything, my mainly disagreement is Angela, she whould be lower for me, or maybe I would put her Odette in a top 10 and her Jasmine and Thumbelina lower. Beautiful ranking!! ❤
Disney Spain is weird, actually Elisa (Tiana), Laura (Anna) and Ana Esther (Elsa) can sing very well, I even heard that Crystal Barreyro (Vaiana) can sing, but it seems they rather just choose "renowned voices" (not a bad thing imo, but I think it's better when an actress can do both speaking and singing in a character)
Lemon Red well Carmen isn’t even famous so yeah I really think Laura should have done the singing. And as I’m not a fan of Gisela i had liked to hear Ana Esther on the role
It’s a shame that you have already done this video because tomorrow Laura Pastor is going to upload in her channel in a HQ version a cover of Love Is An Open Door with Miguel Antelo (Castilian voice of Olaf)
Agree with the top 5 definitely. But Laura Pastor and Bely Besarte are the best in my opinion, they have sweet but strong voices! Kinda sad Laura wasn't cast as Anna. Would've been so cool to at least hear her in a short or smth
Good video as always, I totally agree with the top 2 but for the rest I disagree a lot^^ I 100% agree that Virginia, Elvira and Lydia should have voiced Disney princesses, they would have been perfect for Ariel, Mulan or Jasmine. Actually Maria Caneda, Angela Aloy and Carmen Lopez are simply midcasts to me. So that's why Elvira or Virginia would have been perfect for the princesses of the 90's. True Yolanda and Cani sound also a bit like them but I like Cani's emotional and motherly rendition (my guilty pleasure) and Snow White is the only character where "fake childish voices" aren't annoying to me. I agree Angela is better as Thumbelina and Odette since these songs don't require the same energy as AWNW but I still find her singing and emotions fake and like you said, like a kindergaten teacher singing to kids^^ I imagine Inés also for Odette, she would have been great :) For Anna and Rapunzel I wish Russian Red was their (or for one of them) voices. Carmen sounds also too fake, childish and stupid to me and the approach of making them sound only like retards makes her performances sound like a parody IMO. The best Disney princesses voices to me are Tiana, Pocahontas and Megara, strong, powerful, sincere and natural ;) I also love Gisela, she didn't fake anything and she makes Elsa sound like a human, real and believable. I love her Giselle too :) I agree with you about Moana, Pocahontas and Belle 2017 :D
Elvira couldn't have dubbed Jasmine or any earlier princess as she was born in 1978. She was only 20 in 1998 so I doubt she could be Jasmine back in 1992. For Angela, I prefer her as Odette, then Jasmine, and in last place Thumbelina. I don't think Carmen decided to make them sound like "retards" but that's your opinion.
Of course I forgot it, but maybe as a redub but also when I listenned Gisela in the pop version of AWNW, I thought she could have been a great Jasmine too (but not in 1992 too). My favorite role of Angela for my part is Mulan in Catalan, for the Castillan roles I just know Jasmine is the role I like the least but for the rest (Odette, Thumbelina, Nala) I don't know my order^^
About Carmen I say that because to me she's part of those Anna and Rapunzel's voices who only sound like "it's a happy exicted girl, let's go crazy", and the result is just too much IMO
I have to admit that I always had a problem with the Castilian voices. Some of them have really beautiful voices but none of them is magical. None of them stands out compared to other singers all around the world. I don't connect to them. It's hard to explain but I think I'll never be a fan of Castilian dubbings. If I have to pick a favorite I would go with Gema Castano and Russian Red (who is not included here).
So glad to see another language ranking from you! Even though we don't agree much here, it was interesting to watch nevertheless! First I already disagree with your last 2 places, I don't love them, but I like them, I would also put Inés higher (but I have a soft spot for her Belle

I'm happy you like Carmen's voice like me. Normally, I notice people tend to dislike her performance.
Your rankings are always splendid, such a pleasure to watch!
Thank you very much that's really nice :)
my favourite language
I agree with your top 4, they are all amazing! :)
Virginia's voice it's just 🛐MAGIC🛐

The sister of Latin American Spanish, and really okay voices. European Spanish (Castilian) is Standard Spanish?
The Korean Disney Princess it’s just the Spanish from Spain, in contrast of the Spanish from Latin America
It depends, in case of origin, this is the standard, but the Latin American one is more used and is more comercial
Lol, you confused the Tiana singer with the French one... That's Chila Lynn.
And I agree mostly, except that I like Caneda as Ariel, her voice is sometimes annoying but her actual rendition is quite good to me.

I imagine Inés also for Odette, she would have been great :)
For Anna and Rapunzel I wish Russian Red was their (or for one of them) voices. Carmen sounds also too fake, childish and stupid to me and the approach of making them sound only like retards makes her performances sound like a parody IMO.
The best Disney princesses voices to me are Tiana, Pocahontas and Megara, strong, powerful, sincere and natural ;)
I also love Gisela, she didn't fake anything and she makes Elsa sound like a human, real and believable. I love her Giselle too :)

About Carmen I say that because to me she's part of those Anna and Rapunzel's voices who only sound like "it's a happy exicted girl, let's go crazy", and the result is just too much IMO
I like Spanish Mulan
Me too
Can you do Tagalog?
Yes I will
Sol Pilas and Gema Castaño Have a good voice
I put elsa higher.
You made a mistake in the 9th place :)
Fernando Andres Villaroel Suazo what mistake?
charguigou His is name Chila Lynn you put China instead of Chila :)
Latin Spanish plz
You must wait for that video, they are doing this according to alphabetical order.
