Except for necessary fabrics, Special occasions, I stop ironing 20yrs ago. The kids had baskets in the basement for their underwear, socks, tshirts, pants etc. So they could sort it out there and go upstairs to pur it away. Worked well.
Ella, these kids are old enough to be doing their own laundry and ironing. The machine does the work. My kids were doing theirs by age 8. Just teaching them independence. It will take so much pressure off of you and you’re not so tired and drained. Not telling you how to run your home and I do see they help out a little bit, but laundry is so much work with so many kids. Anyways, love you guys. Keep the videos coming. A lot of women start the habit of eating ice during pregnancy. I don't think it has anything to do with iron deficiency. Just a recommendation from doctors to keep cool and hydrated.

I agree with robyn that kids can help with laundry. If she puts a hamper in each kid's room, they can put their dirty clothes in then put them in the washing machine when they get enough for a load. They can combine clothes with a sister or brother and wash them together too. They can dry and fold and hang up their clothes and they will actually like doing that.

And you’re sparing yourselves, Tim & Ella, from having to purge wrong-headed ideas out of your kids minds, and making sure that they’re brought up with a desire to honor, respect and reverence the Lord and His word (the Bible). Thank you for your courage to share a weekly snippet of the goings-on in your family- knowing that you’re going to be appreciated by some (GWG members) and criticized by others. Some of the GW Gang members are concerned about you allowing some of your kiddos to be video’d while shirtless. But I’ve seen some scantily clad people walking around in my neck of the woods, and no one is saying anything about it (eg. women going shopping with no bra on and in some cases no DRAWERS!). I’m shocked by the cultural shift that’s happening in society today. I see young girls in department/retail stores walking around with their butt cheeks exposed. And the parents are allowing them to wear that type of clothing to school, grocery store, etc. There’s an old saying, that you may be familiar with, and I’ll share it here. “The pot can’t call the kettle black.” If society can be okay with Gen. Z (and some millennials) walking around half naked on a daily, why are they so critical and insensitive to your family? I know that what I’ve seen as I travel out and about has caused many a pervert to take a 2nd 👀 look. I’m just saying… There so much more that I could share with you all, but I’ll end this comment with this heartfelt sentiment… I love and appreciate you all, Grimwade Family, for being willing to share your lives with the masses. I have been watching this family since the earlier days of u tube. She was pregnant with Rue . Ella was always a hard working Mom with her duties at home. She has taught those kids from a young age to help out and that they did. Especially Hosanna. Hazie was always busy with soccer from a very very young age. Those kids know how to help. Ella is just that Mom who likes to do her mommy things. The kids have just began more busy with their sports. Ella and Tim seems to have a goal for their kids. I use to pray for them to reach 50k then 100k, so they can move. But yea the kids are independent but just busy.

I’ve seen many of times where the girls do help out alot like with the washing up or unpacking the dishwasher or putting away the shopping but I think Ella is the type of mom who likes to do everything herself so she knows it’s done properly and there’s nothing wrong with that. If anything Tim should be the one helping not the children, they can help do their own stuff (i.e. washing their own plates, handwashing their own socks and pants, ironing their own clothes etc) but they shouldn’t be forced to do household chores
Each child had their own basket, hangers and shelf in the laundry room. When they were too small to fold, I wash, dried, ironed, folded and hung up their clothes on the bar in the laundry room. They were responsible for putting it all away. As they got older, they folded their own. I hung up and laid the clothes out flat from the dryer so they would get crazy wrinkled. Also, beds were made has soon as they finished toileting in the mornings. The kitchen was cleaned after dinner by all of us. The bathrooms were cleaning daily, after baths. Many hands makes short work. You are doing too much Ella. Every child in that house is old enough to be doing chores, even the youngest can be taught to match socks, fold wash clothes and dish towels.
So funny that everyone is laughing and giving Harper a pass, but if this was Halle (especially) or hosanna you all would be up in your seats attacking, hating and criticizing them. This comment section would look a lot different..a lot of y’all’s hate and over criticism towards Halle is disturbing and so obvious. And disgusting coming from grown adults

Eating ice is a sign of iron deficiency. You need to increase your iron intake with veggies or an iron pill. Wish you the best.
A lot of women start the habit of eating ice during pregnancy. I don't think it has anything to do with iron deficiency. Just a recommendation from doctors to keep cool and hydrated.

Yep, I used to eat ice for breakfast everyday for years. Finally, my doctor put me on 90 milligrams of iron pills every day for a year. During that time, and even now years later, my obsession with ice is non-existent.

I agree with robyn that kids can help with laundry. If she puts a hamper in each kid's room, they can put their dirty clothes in then put them in the washing machine when they get enough for a load. They can combine clothes with a sister or brother and wash them together too. They can dry and fold and hang up their clothes and they will actually like doing that.

👋Hello, Grimwade Family (& Gw Gang), I dropped by this video vlog again to share my thoughts on home schooling your beautiful children. I think HS is such a great idea. I was grown and in College when I first heard of it, and in some ways I wish I could’ve experienced it. I think it’s a great way to protect your kids from being influenced by the wrong people (a child’s world view is mostly shaped by his/her parents). And you’re sparing yourselves, Tim & Ella, from having to purge wrong-headed ideas out of your kids minds, and making sure that they’re brought up with a desire to honor, respect and reverence the Lord and His word (the Bible). Plus, your children will maintain a level of innocence that I think is lost in a public school setting. Thank you all for sharing a portion of your lives with us! 🙏🏽♥️🙂

Thank you for the weekly update. I truly pray that you all are feeling better. Thank you for your courage to share a weekly snippet of the goings-on in your family- knowing that you’re going to be appreciated by some (GWG members) and criticized by others. Some of the GW Gang members are concerned about you allowing some of your kiddos to be video’d while shirtless. But I’ve seen some scantily clad people walking around in my neck of the woods, and no one is saying anything about it (eg. women going shopping with no bra on and in some cases no DRAWERS!). I’m shocked by the cultural shift that’s happening in society today. I see young girls in department/retail stores walking around with their butt cheeks exposed. And the parents are allowing them to wear that type of clothing to school, grocery store, etc. There’s an old saying, that you may be familiar with, and I’ll share it here. “The pot can’t call the kettle black.” If society can be okay with Gen. Z (and some millennials) walking around half naked on a daily, why are they so critical and insensitive to your family? I know that what I’ve seen as I travel out and about has caused many a pervert to take a 2nd 👀 look. I’m just saying… There so much more that I could share with you all, but I’ll end this comment with this heartfelt sentiment… I love and appreciate you all, Grimwade Family, for being willing to share your lives with the masses. And I pray that the Lord’s blessings and hand of protection will cover you all every day of your precious lives! In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray.🙏🏽 Amen!❤

Harper knows how to do hair
I have been watching this family since the earlier days of u tube. She was pregnant with Rue . Ella was always a hard working Mom with her duties at home. She has taught those kids from a young age to help out and that they did. Especially Hosanna. Hazie was always busy with soccer from a very very young age. Those kids know how to help. Ella is just that Mom who likes to do her mommy things. The kids have just began more busy with their sports. Ella and Tim seems to have a goal for their kids. I use to pray for them to reach 50k then 100k, so they can move. But yea the kids are independent but just busy.
Ginger, lemon, turmeric with honey is my thing, and I promise it helps!!!

You all have 3 big girls and 2 little girls that can help keep the house clean and organize the three bigger girls are at the age to do better at helping clean up it will help them out in life for later on when they have their own home.
The oldest child is a boy he should also help clean, we’re not in the 1920’s mate just because they’re girls doesn’t mean they should do most the household chores!
The oldest boy is a full time professional youth football player he doesn't have time to be helping out as much the other girls do. You don't know what happens behind the scenes@@Knouk25
I’ve seen many of times where the girls do help out alot like with the washing up or unpacking the dishwasher or putting away the shopping but I think Ella is the type of mom who likes to do everything herself so she knows it’s done properly and there’s nothing wrong with that. If anything Tim should be the one helping not the children, they can help do their own stuff (i.e. washing their own plates, handwashing their own socks and pants, ironing their own clothes etc) but they shouldn’t be forced to do household chores
It’s hard for Ella to ask/accept help. She’s talked about it before

Each child had their own basket, hangers and shelf in the laundry room. When they were too small to fold, I wash, dried, ironed, folded and hung up their clothes on the bar in the laundry room. They were responsible for putting it all away. As they got older, they folded their own. I hung up and laid the clothes out flat from the dryer so they would get crazy wrinkled. Also, beds were made has soon as they finished toileting in the mornings. The kitchen was cleaned after dinner by all of us. The bathrooms were cleaning daily, after baths. Many hands makes short work. You are doing too much Ella. Every child in that house is old enough to be doing chores, even the youngest can be taught to match socks, fold wash clothes and dish towels.
