I have the same bag from Amazon and I love it! The strap on the side is to hold down the long zipper. The zipper tail is to be tucked in between the bag and strap. I also bought a different strap from Amazon that is softer and more comfortable than the thinner strap.

Do you find it too wide/big and bulky? I’ve just bought the COPYMAXS which is basically the same width and my only worry is it bumping into things and wear on the corners, has yours scuffed?
