It feels like just yesterday I watched the episode for the first time and felt my whole world come tumbling down, taking my heart and soul with it. I have never felt such a deep depression and a feeling of numbness, I just couldn't process how someone so strong, so brave, loyal, passionate and such a badass can all of a sudden just be gone like that in a blink of an eye by a fucking stray bullet from someone she considered a father figure, a teacher. I never thought you could actually feel your heart break in two, but I learned the hard way that you can. I am to this day, 5 years later still grieving and still trying to find some sort of sense or meaning to her death. Lexa changed us all, she united us all under one Kru, just like she did with the clans. She is spec6and her story deserves to be heard, just like Lexa deserved better. I cant thank Alycia enough for bringing Lexa to life, there's no one out there who could have played that part better than Alycia did. I am so proud of what this fandom has accomplished and will continue to accomplish for years to come. Lexa Deserved Better and it's up to us to make sure she gets it, either through fanfiction, a spin off, and to make sure the world knows Lexas name and story. Our Fight is not over.
