I mean.. that's what you get when you microwave frozen bread.
The trick is to take them straight from the microwave and wrap them in a paper towel. It actually works great with croissant sandwiches.

Three things I learned from watching this video:
1. Hot Pockets are great
2. You should still learn how to cook so you can enjoy great food and never have to deal with people ever again
3. If I grow my hair long enough, I could probably tie it up at the front to make a sassy, hairy bun necklace, and I so wanna try that if I end up having to live without a barbershop and my parents die

The irony is that you don't really need to know how to cook that much to make things you like. Bacon and eggs is simple as Hell. Steak and veges is really easy too. There are so many things you can make without technically 'knowing' how to cook.
He microwaved a lot of that stuff poorly giving them bad results, honestly surprised he didn’t cover the foods with a paper towel too…. That microwave is gonna be nastyyy

If my breakfast item of choice had instructions for both a microwave and an oven, im always choosing the microwave because who the hell wants to fuss with an oven that early in the morning?
"Empty" looks like the look the kid would give his dad if he promised that they'd play video games together when he got home from work, and then his dad got home and said he was too tired.

I just wanna make this as public as possible. The second to last frozen breakfast (Bacon, Egg and Cheese Croissant) was said to be "a pain" to cook for Ian. He says "microwave on 30% power for one minute, microwave on high for 40 seconds. That's a pain." I am simply stating that he sounded like he cooked the sandwich twice.

As a kid I LOVED pancake on a stick. It was a top 3 favorite food item of him. I would dip the heck out of it into syrup. I am a vegetarian now, but as a kid this was the greatest thing. I bought these for my son and he loved it, although he has only eaten one of them. They have a little too much sugar for him to eat, but I wanted him to try them.
These videos are so comforting for some reason. I love your editing style and I love your face Ian. Thanks for helping me chill out.

My mother is from South Korea but she absolutely loves Jimmie Dean. She eats the pancake sausage corn dog, and their scrambled eggs every morning before breakfast with a cup of dark coffee. She says it’s her favorite breakfast food Americans had innovated.

I won't lie, I did feel a special bond between us, as I made and ate my breakfast consisting of sandwiches with grilled zucchini paste and wasabi-flavored chips on top.
We had the flaptsicks at my high school in the morning. Honestly, they tended to be better than anything the cafeteria actually made.
I'm quite partial to Jimmy Dean breakfast bowls myself. Egg, potato, cheese, meat, plus an entire day's worth of salt. Tasty

I personally get the jimmy dean sausage egg and cheese croissant sandwiches, wrap it in paper towel and microwave it. The bread (at least for me) isn’t soggy and the bread is actually soft.
You could lightly toast the bread separately, too!

So, funny enough those pancakes on a stick where my breakfast while I was still in elementary school, and the one thing my sister and I always hated was that there was no syrup. We figured out the BEST way to heat these up was to use a damp paper towel and cook it for 30 seconds at a time.
On the next episode of Brtualfoods, Ian reviews a dozen different recipes for tuna noodle. My favorite!

This my favorite Brutalfoods video to watch first thing in the morning. I like the slow, tired ambience of it. Even the editing is a little more sedate than the other episodes. Really makes it feel like you and your buddy are just waking up.

The corn dog bought back some memories of in primary school I saw on the lunch menu that they were serving hot dogs, I thought to myself “cool, I haven’t had one of those in a while” so I went up to the counter gave the woman my money and ordered a corn dog. She then handed me a tan coloured sausage (it wasn’t even battered). I took one bite of it and threw up.

It's so weird having grown up poor and eating all these foods for almost every meal for years and years, even today, and loving them, and then having someone come in and say that they're terrible most of the time.
It's interesting because I've learned to overlook certain things like looks and soggyness of buns and spongeyness and idk it's very weird haha.

I agree on some of them being nasty though, can't lie. Grew up poor too, I know the struggle. I'm an adult now and I enjoy home cooked meals more than anything in the world, good restaurants as well. But, I will always have an appreciation for frozen foods. May not be the healthiest, but they sustain until you can do better.
Edit: Frozen/canned foods really did help though. I was healthy, that's all that mattered. I still have a BIG love for Chef Boyardee spaghetti and meatballs ; as well as kidney beans.
