I hear a lot about 90s reggae as the epitome of reggae! But 80s reggae is just as good if not better to me. Those 80s artists don't get enough credit for their contribution to the culture.
I think late 70s roots was the golden era... then the toasting on top of the older riddims later on, the 80s dubs are the best though. From late 70s to late 80s is what I prefer.
