Thanks Patrick! The older cameras have been updated once since 2022 and have not been updated since. This new model has not been updated because the firmware is fairly recent. So it does not appear to have regular updates unless they want to introduce some new feature of sorts.

Solar powered appeals to me. I've purchased Hiseeu solar powered cameras before but didn't have a good experience, their battery continuity was always terrible. This one looks good and I'm installing it for my farm

Do you need internet for the cameras?

You only need the Internet if you want to access the cameras using the mobile app. If the NVR is not connected to the Internet it still records as usual transmitting its own wireless signal to and from the NVR.
