Who cares? There's always gonna be a bottom character. Point is the strength gap will be less.
I wonder what the changes to the system mechanics in general will do to help out the S1 low-tiers. Perfect Parry gets changes to the frame data, Drive Reversal is about to be more useful, etc.

It’s wild, because our the gate. SF6 is this progressive aggressive style game making big changes. Then, when it’s time for season 2… they patch like it’s SF4.
Man I’m so ready for season 2. Hope they do Lily justice.
I heard she got some really good buffs. Wish I remembered what they were. Lol.
I feel like she needs a whole rework. Her wind stocks are kinda interesting but she should be solid without the stocks. Right now its just for her unga condor spire or whatever its called. The stocks should just be something else or removed entirely.
Finally made it to Master with Manon. Wasn’t easy and finally got my skill up on her. I guess it’s time to shoot for Legend.
Manon s2 wish list (but probably won’t happen)
-Wish she would get better oki off her command grabs and specials.
-I wish they made one of her rond kicks like -6 or better that way she has better drive gauge pressure off her pokes.
-medal damage boost for all moves kinda like Jamie and drink system. Start her out at base damage and have a 3%-5% damage increase & work from there. a lot of her bnbs require 3 bars for any damage. And even then it’s like 2200-2500 at medal 1)
-faster heavy rond kick so it can be actually useful as an anti air. That move can be so good but it’s so slow. Plus a minor thing that’s dumb is she will move slightly forward on the heavy one which close jump ins just will whiff sometimes.
-drive rush going further so she can get an actual oki and punish stuff a lot easier.
And from that? I think she’d be alright, not insanely broken but good enough to at least be mid tier.

The lack of apparent buffs for manon makes me sad
The lack of apparent nerfs for luke and ken makes me question the decision making capability of those in charge
I got Manon to Master last week, just to prove to myself I could before she gets any buffs, but I feel like she will still be ass in season 2.
The worst 3 chars are the 3 grapplers. This will continue.
That said, the worst char in SF6 is "only" a 45-55 disadvantage.
Balance is pretty good overall and most fights are at least reasonably close to even. And yes I am dumping Manon + Jp for Akuma in four and a half hours DO NOT JUDGE ME

That's what she needs.
That would imply that she gets her "mechanic" whenever she gets a medium punish or gets a random hit in the N.
Probably too good if her CG is going to do 37% at full medals.
Like the challenge with manon is that she is eternally a 3 hit character, and that is when things are going your way wrt medals.
Meanwhile DJ can barf up 7000 damage any time he gets a stray hit and his raw DR is drag racer fast.
