These guys were as unique as unique can get, you know David Ruffin must be as good an actor as he is a singer because he seems to be a very pleasant man every time I have seen or heard an interview of his. Even on this video I see no signs of drug use, he will always be a special artist in my opinion, as well of course Eddie and Dennis also. The more I see his interviews and hear his songs and concert footage. There is no way, he could have been that high. Eddie & David has alot of haters! WHO wanted to see them fail.
Yeah his brother Jimmy said that the guy he perceived to the public was not the real him. It was just a manufactured version of him to make it seem like he had it all together. Behind closed doors, David was David.
After that London show that Dennis mentioned, David volunteer to stay behind and collect their pay, because the promoters did not have it when Dennis and Eddi were leaving London.......David collected over forty thousand pounds on their behalf. And when David got off the plane in the USA. He went straight to a crack house with all that money......And there he stayed until he ended up in the hospital where he died.......None of the money that he collected for the three of them was never found

Gino is ignorant. Dennis is the boisterous Teddy Bear. David has a cool and sexy laugh akin to his singing voice. Cornbread is sensitive and gorgeous which makes him super sexy...So sad how David's life ended. He was indeed a statute of a fool - but not a fool for love, as he had written when he was 18.

If this is the same Gino Washington, his records were on the Picadilly label(one of PYE's imprints) in Britain through the 1960s, but he's a bit of an ignoramus for thinking Hong Kong is part of Japan..... this about 8 years before Britain's lease ran out and China reclaimed Hong Kong.
