The solution is much simpler and cheaper than this device. No one mentioned it but cars for years have coped with this, particularly German cars such as VW. Years ago the concept of the 'reserve tank' meant in some VW's, if you were stranded, you just turned to the reserve tank, about 1.6 gal, to limp home. The 'limp home' option is also common with electronic cars. Anyway, instead of this enormous, costly battery charger, you need only have the EV car makers have either a back-up battery or have an internal segment of the battery pack not showing up on 'range'. So if you are stranded, you just flip a lever...
yeah but thats the same as just having that battery be there like it was part of the whole package. the psychology of having a backup is not already having that backup there ready to use whenever.

Will be useless in no time... Right now, yes. Range can be an issue for the purchase and the use of an electric vehicle and the market is obviously growing quick. But so is the technology behind the electric vehicles. Where many might struggle today to get a good 200-300 miles on a charge (which for most is already enough for a day). Within a few years you might be looking at 400-500 or more on even the base models of vehicles as the technology progresses. More than enough for most people on a daily basis, for some easily a weekly bases. More range on a car; means less need to charge often. They are sort of betting and basing their product on the current EV market growing quicker than the overal charging network/infrastructure and any new battery/range technologies. Both of those will grow just as quick (if not quicker) than the EV market. And better technology in the batteries and a better charging infrastructure mean that this product will become useless within a few years. more charging stations = less need for remote charging better battery = more range = less need for charging in general the combination of those two = less need for charging already, and when you do need to charge, there are more places to charge your car = even less need for remote charging At best I can see one of these in recovery vehicles. But even then...with the better battery technology/range and a better charging infrastructure, less EV's will need to be recovered, again making this product less useful within a few years.
Better battery technology only makes this product even more useful, smaller and cheaper, exactly like a gas can. Your argument only strengthens the use of this product . Are you one of the ones that was telling everyone that EV's wouldn't be useful or "who would want to buy an electric car" ? Now these electric cars are taking over and beating every other car in basically every category.

What was the company name?
Wont this be obsolete once has stations are replaced? I would imagine the car companies would make the portable back up pretty easily..
What about in remote areas on farms and rural places. There having this would be very helpful
@@anirudhhhh If you think rural area population are going to be driving electrical I have an Ocean View Condo in North Dakota to sell you.
@@anirudhhhh You could charge on the farm. Even better install solar and charge with that system. If you have an electric pick-up truck with 250 miles of range (coming very soon) you would not likely drive enough in a day to burn through the whole battery charge.
@@drakealexander6668 I think the rural population is going to rush to buy EV cars and trucks. Electricity is generally cheaper than gas, and if you have solar it really cuts costs.
@@drakealexander6668 You said that right. The speed of electric to overtake gas and oil for our US auto files is going to remain sluggish. Mark and Lori know they can provide the resources and support to these guys to blast these units out there quickly, as well as smaller portable units. Elon Musk and the others are not in as big a hurry to get this going as everyone thinks.

What the hell is advisory shares ?
advisor shares, are typically financial rewards in the form of stock options. Advisors who receive advisory shares are usually businesspeople with previous experience as company founders or senior executives. They exchange their insight and contacts for equity in a young company
I hate due diligence. This deal will not come through

The original deal by guy meant 2% advisory share for both combined. Mark Cuban persuaded him for 2% each, the guy accepted as he knew he would loose the deal otherwise.

ABC studios betrayal season 2 why canceled plz reply
3M viewers, fractional demographic numbers, and also bad reviews caused the cancellation of Betrayal. People weren’t watching the show and there was no interest. ABC is not going to pay money for a show that nobody is watching.
7 years ago, fractional demographic numbers like a 0.9 meant that the show was a flop. Today, shows that have a 0.8 or a 0.9 mean that the show is successful. People aren’t watching traditional tv like they were 7 years ago because of streaming.
interesting hmmm

And better technology in the batteries and a better charging infrastructure mean that this product will become useless within a few years.
more charging stations = less need for remote charging
better battery = more range = less need for charging in general
the combination of those two = less need for charging already, and when you do need to charge, there are more places to charge your car = even less need for remote charging
At best I can see one of these in recovery vehicles.
They could add any amount of range to battery technology and people will still run out while driving. My mom was the manager of a large towing company. They got an insane number of calls from people who had run out of gas. Like 15 calls a day.

Idiotic invention. This does a poor job at solving the problem. Takes forever to charge. What we need are REPLACEABLE batteries at the gas station! Manufacturers need to make them quick to take out!
