Before we get comments i want to say that my mulligan comment was meant to say that the decks aren't that blue heavy/interaction dense, I am aware that each of my opponent had blue in their color identity lol
Copium refers to people "coping" or trying to explain or rationalize bad circumstances or choices. It's often depicted as someone inhaling copium through a breathing apparatus like nitrous. If copium is post hoc rationalization, then hopium is pre hoc rationalization.
I’d argue it was a bit greedy from najeela in g2 not to pyro Kinnan with carpet in second main? First seat Kinnan with that start should just have all resources thrown at them.
I don't think so. If he Pyroblasts the Kinnan, Mons can just recast Kinnan and be in the same position a turn later. Najeela also won't progress any further doing so and delay their own progression for a turn. The only winners here are the other two players. If Kinnan doesn't have something worthwhile in hand anymore and aren't lucky with their flip then Najeela has a turn two win attempt. Also, Lucea did not play anything so it's reasonable to assume that they kept open interaction for Kinnan here. A risky play definitely, but proactively removing Kinnan here is, for me, the worse play.
All good points:) I’d still argue for. Najeela is not slowed, as you can still play her, and in second main use the mana from carpet to blast Kinnan. While there is mana open, archaic makes all counters mute. I would at least have communicated about what to do with Kinnan before he spirals out of control, with 8 open mana and a deployed archaic.
Magus player should've used boseiju on the target of the tidespout bounce and that would stop the kinnan player for a turn and mightve prolonged the game but overall great games!

Bro it doesn’t matter what anyone says, you’re playing Jund in cEDH. Go HAM or go home.

This is the first time I've seen the term "pre hoc", that's funny :)
Dropping Koma to tap down lands to push a potential win thru seems like a good play too. Good games
sweet win in game one Pontus. Love the new camera angles too fellas. Keep up the content. RIP Sheldon.
It was a bit sad that sheldons najeela deck didn't get to do much.
Love the thumbnail it's so cursed XD

Thrassios passios is a wincon.
Where's that grafdigger's cage for Kinnan lol Whew Kinnan is bonkers.
Pontus looking mischievous in the thumbnail
Doesn't Boseiju's channel stop Mons for the turn?
I was thinking the same thing. Pop the target and hope mons doesn't have a second artifact
Pontus is a beast!!!!
with a big face.
Mons, would you be willing to run your Vial/Thrasios Valakut deck some time soon? Dont think ive seen you play it in awhike
Sure I can play it today. We are going to record now so here we go valakut. I have played it a few times on the channel.
Pontus is a menace lol
In game 2 lucea could had boseiju the Mox opal in response to the tyrant target and stop the loop right?
Problem is draw hands with interaction
