Its not like push touch is actually just touch!. You also got a app market than actually work?!. WHAT?! You can do all this stuff in this tiny phone?. The screen is bigger?! The quality of the screen is much better?!. WTF IS THIS?!" The 1st few days they were laughing not stop, but everyone was changing they mind after every time i left them to "explore" the potential of the phone. BBM was a HUGE THING, but of course i didn't have that. I was "yoo. You got Whatsapp?". Everyone was like ??? whats that? I was there explaining what was Whatsapp. I basically push an whole school out of Blackberry. In the next few months everyone was using Whatsapp, everyone was buying touch screen phones. Everyone at my class was coming at me with the "Dude...I loved your phone so much i just bought one" By next year everyone was rocking touch screen. By 2012 i was rocking the Google Nexus 4

The only reason why blackberry failed is due to Lack of Innovation
They didn't understand consumer behaviour due to which they didn't evolve..
Thus , it is very important for a brand to constant change..
Apple's iPhones are still surviving and I don't see much innovation from them in general... a little bit more battery here, a little extra camera there... But in the end it's just about the same slab of glass, with the same icons for everyone, same iOS features (or lack of), and it's boring as hell
@Emerald 8XG but what's to say the 2020 iPhone won't be yet another shiny piece of glass? Maybe it'll have a hole punch or pop-up selfie cam but WHO REALLY CARES about little gimmicks like this?
Where are all the interesting designs (aside from Foldables) like sliders etc?
How about a modular iPhone that you could clip on a keyboard if you wanted to or even a projector similar to what Motorola did with the Z series?
@the_boon you are right bro .. but you need to see the competition also APPLE is still far ahead from their competition in terms of innovation
@@vanshaggarwal7219 far ahead in what? What can one do on iPhones that I wouldn't be able to do on a Galaxy phone? Aside from them giving 5 years of iOS updates
Apple has a new narrative of privacy and services like apple tv and music

A great job done by your group regarding this type of topic, regardless of the particular industry where this phenomenon occurs. Your research is intelligent and concise, therefore your videos relatively short and to-the-point. I stumbled across these videos about topics I wanted to confirm my own business assumptions with, and you not only verified my own thoughts, but you educated me as well. I remember everyone not liking the iPhone at first because they didn’t wanna make the screen dirty 😂
This is what’s going to happen to apple if they don’t stop bring a new phone out every two months.
Edit: what I meant they bring a new phone out that’s look the same and act the same with new “features” that could actually just be added with an update.
They‘ve never done this
@@lukasermartin1905
Right
Wow didn’t know 6 came out a year
I think you're not right. Apple is not as often as xiaomi, vivo, and oppo when it comes to releasing new types. These three brands are actually doing what u said: releasing new types almost every 2 months while apple usually once a year
Samsung does it for every 2 weeks(they have launched over 30 mobiles in India this year)
That’s what happens when you don’t want to keep up with the times. People’s minds change and companies need to change too
True, but sad
But they did, the new BlackBerry's run Android which are "with the times"
They didn’t want to keep up. They didn’t even bothered.
@@KBoon I think they need a slightly better processer and a drop in price. But truly a unique device
@@user-zr4wh3lh5v but everyone expects a "truly unique" device from BlackBerry when they're already taking risks with the keyboard form factor but where's all the uniqueness from the other OEM's? All I see are glass slabs
No matter what happened, BBs were my absolute favorite phones!!!! When i had to give it up because they stopped the service i was so so disappointed.... No other phone could manage email like BB... i still love my white 9900 ♥️
I still use Blackberry Hub on my Android to handle e-mail. It's a great aggregator.
Really miss my Priv with the full screen and slide out keyboard.
They also didn't mention how many features the Blackberry had that made it 'corporate friendly'. Companies supplying them to their employees could disable the camera, restrict which apps could be used, restrict who could be contacted, etc. No other phones had that level of control at the time, and it's a big reason why BB got so many corporate contracts.
I felt like I was somebody with that blackberry
i was 17/18 when they came out, they were IT !
Lol
lmaoo so true
I'm gonna get this when I get a job. It's so classy and professional.

They were easy to Admin from an IT standpoint. BES, Email integration and device security was top notch. Best Blackberry they made had to be the Bold (9000 Series).
But...times change and Tech changes and RIM refused to keep up wit either. Once TCL started making their devices I knew it was a wrap, I even tried my hardest to use the KEYone but it just wasn't right. I still have all my old BBs off in the drawer collecting dust now. Pearls, Curves, Bolds, 7290's, 8700g's....Ah well They had a good run.
I remember people joking around saying : The politically correct term is African American Berry 😂😂😂

I'd still rather buy a BlackBerry over an iphone
And be able to do nothing?
The best thing about blackberry is they don't want to give up on their physical keyboard concept.
I remember in high school I had a curve with 5,000 contacts on bbm pin the good ole twitter days & it was untraceable by the government
Oh, it was traceable :)

I miss Blackberry. I will buy it again even today.
Here a little story of my days at High School
I remember back in the day i bought a Samsung Galaxy S1. The Blackberry was going full steam EVERYBODY got one. I was there with my S1 and people was making fun out of me and calling me crazy because i didn't bought a BlackBerry. They didnt even know what the hell was. The next day after buying it my friends and others people at my school were like:
"WOOOW WTF! Wheres the keyboard?. WHAT?! The keyboard is on the screen? IS TOUCH?!. WHAT?!?! Its not like push touch is actually just touch!. You also got a app market than actually work?!. WHAT?! You can do all this stuff in this tiny phone?. The screen is bigger?! The quality of the screen is much better?!. WTF IS THIS?!"
The 1st few days they were laughing not stop, but everyone was changing they mind after every time i left them to "explore" the potential of the phone.
Little question did you become popular?
This should be a lesson for any company dominating the market thinking they are invincible...."innovate or die"
I was upset when blackberry decided to add touch screens and whatnot. I’d literally trade in my iPhone right now if they’d bring back an old school Blackberry.
I have blackberry lets exchange it with your iPhone 😊😊
Stay in the past then.
It was my dream to own bb bold 9000... Back in the days
Im not going to lie, i miss the actual keyboard on phones 😂
I literally had every single blackberry device you showed in this video . I used blackberry up until 2 years ago ...lol
So... you didn't have the KEY2 since it came out less than two years ago
I still remember my dad using one and i still have 1 in home somewhere.
And it still was fun to use. That's why IT was good.
It was fun ^^
I kind of like the keyboard. The reason why people are addicted to smartphones today is because of the touch screen and no keyboard. Without buttons, phones dont feel like phones anymore. They feel like zombifying devices. Who agrees?
@Go Live well with the physical keyboard you can type away without looking and still get sentences that make sense, which you can't really say for glass slabs.
it was my first phone that I had to charge every day
Rolando Velasquez all cellphones? Bruh, my nokia 3310 needs 45 mins to fully charge and can stay up to 1 week

My grandfather went to USA in 2013 to meet his daughter or you can say my aunt now as you all know our main priorities in USA is shopping. When my grandfather came from USA purchasing blackberry feature phone replacing his samsung smartphone as a 5 year old i thought why the hell did he replace his stylish smartphone with his nokia kinda feature phone.
I still have the Blackberry Porsche Design, one of the best product of Blackberry back then. And that was the first phone I owned before I switched to Iphone 4. I miss those day when I felt like a boss walking around school with a Blackberry.
I must say, I used to love my BlackBerry's keyboard, very ergonomic. I wish all phones had that! Another contributing factor to BB's demise was the major data outage of 2011.
Keyboard feels natural
Bruh there is this thing called touchscreen keyboards besides its more bulkier than touchscreen ones
