My school teacher says I'm doing too big side steps and that my first step is too long. The timing is 3/4 1/4, 1. So the last step is the longest, but the first one is also not the shortest. But you do the first step also very long, only for hip demonstration? In the first step happens so much, I think it's not the size of my step, I'm just to slow. Cause you are also on timing. But I can't help myself to get faster or I have to do less hip action, but I'm not doing more than you. So the result ist that I don't have the correct samba rythem anymore, it's not clear. How can I get faster? Can a women do too much hip Action? 😂 But I will follow along your tutorial, thank you

So the size is relative to your legs, you need to be able to extend to the inside edge of the toe with a straight leg - that will determine the size of the step. If the extended leg slides then the step is too big. Also be aware of the depth of your knee, you don't want to go too low. Here are my whisks competitively: ruclips.net/video/gS-fXcxlqTE/видео.html - You probably are a bit too slow but thats what beat value is all about and then you need CONSTANT daily practice to different speeds of music. In either case just keep revisting this tutorial as studying technique along with applicaiton is what makes difference. Remember - I have a full program on all Latin and Ballroom figures where I can guide you on how to get better every week, visit www.ballroommastery.tv if you want to learn more on how I can help you. Thanks for your comment.
