Thanks so much for your help. I had a wind warning when the speed was way less than what the mini 4 pro is able to handle and am wondering if the uav forecast app is that accurate?
You may have encountered some gusts, also you will encounter higher wind speeds the higher you fly. Apps are helpful but always judge the conditions at the location yourself to determine if it's safe to fly.
Great video and super helpful! Picked this up today (first drone) and was a bit concerned about the wind since I'm going to be doing some filming on the coast of Barbados and it can get pretty windy there. Glad to see it should hold strong 🙌🏽
Yeah, you should be totally fine. I've flown in up to 60kph gusts, and it was fine. It's rated for 37kph constant if I remember right, so it's plenty capable in strong winds. Barbados is a dream place to fly the drone! Have fun 😁

Hola! I've had no issues flying it around the coast. The last few days have been 40km winds, and it's been holding up just fine 😁 the Air 3 will hold up to more wind but how much wind do you normally find yourself flying in?

Você pode conferir meus vídeos mais recentes no RUclips para obter exemplos. Tenho filmado muito com ele em Barbados! Estou muito feliz com o Mini 4 Pro e se algum dia eu sentisse que precisava de mais alguma coisa, provavelmente economizaria para comprar um Mavic e compraria isso e o Mini 4 Pro (desculpas se o Google Tradutor estragou alguma parte da ortografia)

@@JustinBainbridgeYT Thank you for your reply. I also noticed from user manual that the aircraft attitude meter will tell the horizontal-ness of the drone. If the level is not horizontal during hovering, that shows that the drone is battling against wind.
Yeah generally the larger and heavier the drone the better it is in the wind. I've flown the mini 4 in 60kph winds with success. Bigger drones are much more stable in the wind though
I was living/working in the Australian outback. The flies out there can be horrendous in some seasons. Luckily now I'm moving around a but more so I have encountered much less flies lately 😂
Great info Justin. Im really learning heaps and you explain things really well. BTW get some Nature's Botanical, it has rosemary and cedarwood in an oitnment. Just dot it on your face. the flies hate it!🦘🦘😎😎Cheryl

how to know the direction of the wind when your drone is up there 100m in the sky?
It'll be a similar direction to on the ground normally. Just pick up a leaf or some grass and drop it to see which way the wind is blowing.

Yeah generally the larger and heavier the drone the better it is in the wind. I've flown the mini 4 in 60kph winds with success. Bigger drones are much more stable in the wind though
