However, India will oppose and fight against China if it is convinced that US is supporting it decisively and whole heartedly. India has come out of slave mentality and being a colony. India did give a befitting response to China in the recent conflict both diplomatically and also militarily. India held its ground for 4 years and ultimately it was China which had to retreat and go back to pre 2020 position. India won against China both militarily and diplomatically but China lost on both fronts. In fact Trump administration will be admiring Modi government for exposing the myth of China's military might and demonstrating to the world that China is just a paper tiger and a dog that can only bark and not bite.
