Was just on this yesterday. I loved the launch drop, you're really moving by the end and you get quite wet. The line was slow though for sure. 8/10 sounds just right, its no Splash Mountain/Dudley Do-right, but it's a good one.
Are operations like this normal? I mean because I saw footage where the entry gate looked relativley far away, and they had to wait until the other guests fully got out of their exit gate if I saw that right. That might explain the rough throughput. Are these regulations in the US or this state? I can only say it from a europeans perspective. The waiting guests here stand directly in front of the boats. Once the other guests are on the exit side of the plattform, the new riders can already enter the boat. And on most flumes here the boats move while in the plattform. So the throughput is greatly increased over here and have some of the fastest moving lines in most parks. This flume though, I really love. The drop might be shallow, but I can imagine that the length of the drop can still deliver mild thrills. Also I love every tracked ride that hugs the terrain, so it's getting a bonus point. Even better if the terrain is fully natural with no modifications done.
The operations tuning is so weird because the go through the whole show with clear and stuff like it’s a coaster which would make sense since cedar fair has historically been quite extra but kings dominion literally uses a foot pedal operated brake and Knott’s is quite fast so idk why this is like that.
Do a water ride ranking video.....log flumes as well rapids ranking...I have only ridden single file on log rides...never been to Disney world so never had the experience of sitting next to someone on a log flume.
You should make a water ride ranking video.
I have done that.
I do like how this flume was designed around the terrain, and how most of it is hidden from view.
It has great use of terrain.
2nd favorite log flume I’ve ridden.
Nice!

I wish it had a higher throughput.
Top 20 log flumes video needed!!
I have made a flume ranking video in the past.
@@CanobieCoaster sweet I’ll hunt for it thanks!
Love when rides use the terrain
Me too.

Not all flumes in the US are operated lile that, but this one is.

I am not sure, but it has been like this for a long time.

I believe I have made that.
This looks like fun especially for my wife too
Nice!
Sadly it was closed on the monsoon of an opening day this year where I would’ve been willing to do it lol.
I always ride it if it's open.
This is a great ride and I would love to ride it sometime soon.
It is fun.
But it feels like a launch on a Mack coaster. Do you know Icon? What would you rate it?
icon is a great ride but the launch was painfully underwhelming
He hasn't been back to the UK since 2017, so he wouldn't have done Icon.
Icon is a very fun ride.
You get SOAKED in the back seat.
You get soaked anywhere.
