Panasonic RX-CT800 BoomBox (AC BIAS!!!!!!!)

This little Panasonic boom box has been sitting on the shelf in my basement for a while, but I haven't made a video of it until now. It even has a five band graphic equalizer and dual cassette decks! There is also a line-in on the back for hooking up a CD player or anything else you want to hook up. AND I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT THIS IS AN AC BIAS SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I had that radio my mom gifted to my back in 1990 I loved it so much, but it was not a good recorder I recorded a lot on it, chrome tapes sounded better!. If I remember correctly the Syncro Start thing is that you put a tape on play pause mode then on the other deck you play a tape when that tape finish the pause on the other deck is released.

In around 1988, I went to the Shirokiya store at Pearlridge Center. I saw two boomboxes that were appealing -- this Panasonic and a JVC with Hyper Bass. Both equally caught my eye, but I chose the JVC.

Left cassette recorder, right cassette player is everything new belts.

Bad driving belts, mine used to do the same thing. Changed the belts and solved the problem.

@ReiMomo What you describe is the Relay Play. Synchro Start is when you press Pause and Record on deck 2, then when you press Play on deck 1, tape-to-tape recording begins.

Soundesign double cassette deck is bad belts or turntable is bad motor garbage VS Panasonic is everything work fine great.
