Ok, before you go on any further I'd like to explain this a little. They almost always play these games on PC using controllers, that's not to say that the game won't look this good on console. To explain the mixing of keys, its because they likely have not mapped the controller completely yet, I sometimes use my controller for BF3, it changes the UI to show the controller layout except a few keys, like it still says "press R to pick up weapon". I hope this explains it a little.
@@MustafaYldz-kr9ph No battlefield isn't really that realistic. I just think he was showing off the game more then trying to get through it. Like I said always aiming down sights for a viewing isn't too entertaining. It gives you a chance to see everything from papers flying around the room to the sound of gun fire and every spark flying. And if you actually take that play style of defense first and put it ina more aggressive form is that bf4 should be played I always walk slow around corners cuz people run and my gun is ready to shoot. I use to be ine of the top players in the world and having a more focus on staying alive then killing help me develop my skills and to have endless battlefield story's
@@dominicviner6619 Dude, clearly there is a misunderstood here, I am not against aiming down, even me, as not veteran gamer, can play this mission at hardest, with never got shot, and keep it realistic. This guy, while he was trying to show the game, he look like a clumsy man, even a real man, can be smoother and faster then him. This guy clearly "bad", even at showing the game
It does display the buttons. I've used a 360 controller before on PC games, including Battlefield 3, and the buttons show up. PC or Xbox One, this game is looking very impressive visually which makes me wonder how the current gen consoles will even manage to run the lowest possible settings on this at 30fps and 720p.
It's the select symbol from the Xbox One controller. Look at 1.16, it's an X symbol as well from the Xbox One controller. This is, without a doubt, running on the Xbox One
doesn't mean a thing - they often run the game on a monster PC at max settings and use an xbox controller to demo on stage. You get rid of the cords and have lower sensitivity on the axis's which allows people viewing to see things better. Keyboard an mouse is a lot snappier and not as good for showing off graphics. Think snapping your head from left to right vs slowly turning it.
Guys, this is not Xbox one or PS4 gameplay. Look in the top right, it says battlelog. That is a social interface for PC version of battlefield. They're demoing on the PC but using a controller. Simple as that.
The IW engine which powers all of the Call of Duty titles is based on idTech 3. It's been heavily modified and constantly upgraded for pretty much every CoD release, but at its heart it's still Q3.
No, you'll need to tune into the live stream from EA in California, starts in one hours time... they will be streaming live multiplayer gameplay! Go to Battlefield's Facebook page to get the link to the video!
Yes but keep in mind this was most likely played on PC. It took a 1000 USD GPU, the HD 7990, to run this on the 17 min gameplay video. There is no way the consoles can beat a $1000 GPU and there is the battlelog backspace button in the top right. It was played on a Xbox controller but on PC im pretty darn sure but thats just from what I can tell I could be wrong.
At E3 they used Xbox One to show off this exact gameplay footage, I'm thinking this is Xbox One gameplay plus when you reach the door the button to open is X, which is usually a console unless you plug a controller to PC (unlikely for gameplay footage). Remember when Microsoft used a Nvidia card at its E3 booth, there could be a chance this is PC too. It's either PC or the TV (Xbox One).
It may be the same stories as most shooters are nowadays, but I like how they showed off the options, as on the main deck of the boat, you could just go for an all out gunfight, or utilise your environment. e.g. shooting the plane free and killing the guys behind cover, and going underground and getting rewarded with a new gun, these subtle differences will make this a fantastic game. My only complaint is how they showcased DLC before the game even came out. Otherwise, this game will be kickass
I played it on my friends PC and it seems different for some reason, but on console, you are either on a good team or a bad team, and by bad team, I mean people who play it like a damn TDM and not rush
Be nice to see if they finally fix the half a mag kill issue with multiplayer which has been around since BF1942, although to be fair it was almost a full mag from the BAR then.
1. CoD:BlOps, runs on a derivation of WaW's engine, which was written on IW 3; 2. MW3, also runs on IW 3, modified from base for it's own use and nick-named "MW3 engine"; 3. BlOps 2, also running on a modified base revision of IW 3 and nick-named "Black Ops 2 engine"; 4. CoD:Ghosts, which too runs on IW 3 which was modified from base code for it's own use. Those are the past four CoD titles as of now, all running on IW 3 basecode with superficial rendering or script interpreting changes.
there isn't any link till now actually... but it should be on their official site and I guess on battlelog too when the moment comes! (Pretty weird they didn't post any link till now I think personally!)
Don't see how; The X button is most likely to be the action/use button for BF4, on the xbox X is typically the action button. So in the footage they used X as an action button to pick up weapons and such. If it were on the PS4 then X would most likely make you jump. Unless they changed the controls for some reason...
agreed, CoD was definitely more single player friendly...though now i'm not really so sure. BF bread and butter was multiplayer, single player is just there if you want something extra to do.
despite the engine being the same as bf3, this looks a lot better and optimized. It's like frostbite 2 on steroids The smoke, fire, debris from explosions look better - now there's actually light rays/shafts (0:21 - 1:52 - 2:17) instead of a big bright, lense flared mess that you would get in bf3
For every one calling out the guy who was playing in this video. You kids really need to learn about marketing. This entire video is about promoting the visuals of the game. The guy did that pretty well. If he had tried rinsing through it, then none of us would see all the aspects of it.
You can tell that they are trying to show off the graphics in some areas like when they get on the deck he is looking around showing the audience the improvements in graphics
PC displays the Xbox buttons??? lmao your statement is incorrect this was in xbox one. You can still play with a controller on PC but that DOES NOT means it will display the x.ys. etc.
Yea, I understand that, I guess what I mean is that I hope certain events aren't going to be scripted on a time-frame. Like, if you wanted to play it out fast or slow it wouldn't matter. It's looking good though.
I'm getting both BF4 and Ghosts I cant see why people try and compare them they are two different games trying to achieve two different goals in my opinion
it wont let me link to twitch for some reason. so use your brains and put this together. twitch. tv / battlefieldpodcast. thats where you can catch the live stream.
I'd love a map where you fight between a series of aircraft carries and battle ships, and the only way to get to the next one is by boat, jet ski or a chopper. Imagine it after 20 minutes when all the boats are splitting in half as players are frantically trying to take the flag!
It's PC game play, but played with an xbox controller on low sensitivity. So you get some nice slow pans, to make sure you don't miss anything they wan't you to see.
Yeah believe it or not i did see that but i just felt like saying that anyway. What i only really meant to say was it looks like it will be a good single player experience.
they actually didnt run it on the console lol, just to let you know they used a xbox one controller linked to the pc at low sensitivity so its more cinematic, it probly looks the same on the consoles but this gameplay is all pc.
so this is all running in real-time on the Xbox One? impressive, smooth frame-rate.. can only imagine how the game's going to run like on the PlayStation 4 :D
"Do you have a moment to talk about jesus ?"
He's trolling you, bruv
pause at certain points, squad mates for this mission are kovic, irish, pac. pause at 2:00 to 2:05 for a better view
what happened to the "take cover"?
bf4 single player only includes campaign mode? no other challenges?
Little did the BF community know this was the worst campaign
nah it was aight

I dont think so, it says "RT to switch weapons" "X to reload" all over the screen ;) also it has been shown at the Xbox One press conference.

no...
the mp reveal was running off of two crossfired 7990s, which are pc gpus.
It was running on a pc, not a console.
i cred
I like how they replaced the little bleeper with hand signals when calling out targets.

No, you'll need to tune into the live stream from EA in California, starts in one hours time... they will be streaming live multiplayer gameplay! Go to Battlefield's Facebook page to get the link to the video!
You can plug in a 360 controller to pc and it will change commands and icons to match the 360.
i said mouse2, that can be referred as RMB.what i meant was that they could address it as Right Trigger "RT"
yes u can on ps3 its the throw grenade button then aim down button (for guns). Hold that down and then voila! It stays in your hand.
No this was PC footage that they tried to show as console, there's a backspace key at the top right when 'battlelog' is displayed.
also in the right-hand corner you can see the BACKSPACE button to go to battlelog!
Buddy no need to get mad. I'm fairly new to battlefield but ive done my research. They're just looking for ways to expand the fun :D
I hope the final build has a slower health regen time, or at least the option to choose between fast, slow, or no regen.

If you didn't know this wasn't even played on an Xbox one during e3 . It was actually played on a pc with a gtx 780 high end graphics card.

I'm wondering why they would show PC footage in the xbone press conference. Was it just to make the graphics look more appealing? I'm curious.
I really hope the actual gameplay is going to be faster paced. The firefights in the last few clips EA has shown us have been so slow moving.
Be nice to see if they finally fix the half a mag kill issue with multiplayer which has been around since BF1942, although to be fair it was almost a full mag from the BAR then.
Actually, it's PC I believe. If I'm not mistaken, the next-gen Battlefield 4 for consoles will be 720p/60fps, whilst this video's 1080p o.O

Normally Battlefield is all about the multiplayer for me, but the single player is starting to look pretty cool too. Can't wait for this game!
My eyes melted out of my sockets watching this. This game's single player is definitely bringing the most raw power to the next gen graphics.
Top right corner the backspace key is used to go back to battlelog it is on pc he is just using an xbox controller
This is not on PC this is on PS3 or PS4, becouse when he jumps into the water and swims to the boat it writes " X Enter boat".
this is xbox one gameplay, notice the "RT- Shoot Weapon"
But i buy it on PS4 and PC !
notice the multiple seen "x to open" overlays
mebbe it means right trigger or something, and it could be referring to mouse2
