No Artylery, no explosions, no large area bombardments . just good old Dakka and byonets. good old indeed. That was the most beatifull Krumpin I ever had seen. *snifs* Zogin thank you.
I think an interesting option would be a dedicated medium sized explosion artillery peice that could take out 17 troops and a dedicated anti armour troop option. Both would move extremely slow. Another idea could be the current officer and another officer that increases fire rate.
It'd be interesting to see stats of how much damage/kills each unit type gets against other unit types, woah. Mostly to see just what the efficiency of mortars looks like against infantry Or, oooh, graph it against time! Collecting the data like that sounds like way more of a pain in the butt, though...
I can only imagine how different this would be if dead marbles lingered around like corpses on a battlefield. Perhaps an idea for later? When a marble dies, cut its size and saturation color in half. For tanks, they could break apart (just an idea! Fracture mechanics are difficult, I know),
This is so cool. I love how it just sinks into absolute disaster once those marbles start hitting the multipliers over and over, great idea. You should make the explosions from larger weapons stand out with a lil shockwave, cuz I see how their killing radius is different from their visual radius. Just an idea. Love these videos.
They keep your marbles alive because they hinder some from moving forward - basically if you dont have the manpower to attack then you wont waste your troops for nothing
I disagree. It lets them slot into defensive positions to avert pushes from the opposing side. It begins to mean a lot less later on but that is intended :D
They need to stop putting feel good music over thousands of men dying, the proper way to watch this video is to listen to 4 different windows of "WW2 War Sounds Battle Of Berlin 1 Hour Version" at full volume.
It seems that the marbles spawn at a rate independent of the use of marbles. If green gets recycled more often and red spawns sooner, you will see more green.
so now what if you made the selector marbles like 33% less bouncy bc i swear they spend so long dancing around the option they're very clearly gonna fall into would that change the shape of the battle?
is this an game we can buy? i would love to watch/play these type of simulations myself. I often also just watch the AI battle eachother in Hearts of Iron 4 .
Reds disadvantage: They get spawned way slower than green does. Unless I'm missing something. Green marbles are thrown into the battlefield all at the same time. Red slowly spawn each line of marbles. Sad day to be cheated.
That's because Green got higher multipliers, and once they surpass a certain number marbles are thrown literally everywhere, as they cannot all occupy the limited volume of their spawn point. Especially riflemen, 5000+ spawn are already enough to make them kinda explode, let alone Green's 28K Also camera was closer to Green base when they got their explosive spawns, that's why Red ones were less noticeable, plus Red only got a 10K+ spawn once
@@marcohueber5130 Red didn’t miss out on multipliers. They also got some pretty crazy numbers, but were clearly dispensed slower than the green marbles. It didn’t matter how high of a multiplier a red marble had because it dispense just as slow as a marble with no multiplier. If you keep an eye on the red marble spawn vs the green marble spawn, you’ll see a disparity.
If you teach us on how to make this make sure to cut out the non essential parts, and make it engaging so the people won't be so bored, that's my advice. You should also put the source code so people can see on what they did wrong.
05:18 That's a high number for green. Hopefully they use it for tanks or zeppelins...

That initial tank rush was surprisingly ineffective.
The tanks were probably nerfed
They also has to deal with a literal sea of green riflemen
I think this is the first time that a wall of infantry was actually able to counter the tanks
Me: there’s no way they’re going to survive that wall of tanks

When you're dominating as part of the proud red tanks and suddenly you see a tsunami rush towards you.
Except its not water. Its green soldiers...

Is a team trench war possible? Same concept as fleet battles, two colors and two bunkers per team on the same map.
yep

Ah yes, counter the wave tactic with the tsunami tactic lol.
the amount of soldiers was so high they were paradropping on TOP of those red tanks with 20k behind them
I'd like to see one where friendly fire is turned on for artillery, mortars and All Shoot
I feel like the trenches mesn literally nothing, they might as well be fighting on a flat field.
fair

It isn't trench war fare without trenches i say we make them deeper for more defense so that it actually makes a difference maybe add barred wires
They keep a number of infantry stuck in place as defenders.

May I ask about your troop dispatching mechanism? I don’t quite understand it.^^
Just spawns the total number of units, each a random location within a predefined spawn box
@@lostmarbles3dthank you , This mechanism seems to be well balanced. I am also thinking about how to design the UI mechanism for my game^^.
Red ‘s cannon fodder
Make one of these but whit 3 or 4 teams
I always predict the winner for some reason.
Why does green have so many more marbles bouncing around in the unit selector?
It seems that the marbles spawn at a rate independent of the use of marbles. If green gets recycled more often and red spawns sooner, you will see more green.
I had the same question. At the end there were all greens up top.
Just better luck on the splitters and copy marble triggers.
