Dude criticizes Sony's Playstation state of play...lack of IPs, originality, ignoring fans etc....but raves about XBOX showcases....a showcase composed of 90% games that will also be available on Playstation....
@@jpazinho here's the thing at least with that Xbox showcase they did a great job at convincing people to invest in gamepass cuz most of the games they showed off are coming either day one or game pass at some point. PlayStation did not do a good job at even convincing people once again to get invested into the PS5 Pro and this is their second time talking about it. So please let's stop moving the goal post and focus on Sony's fuck up cuz we not here to talk about Xbox.
Duh to showcase Just like any other showcase upcoming titles and updates of games But more importantly show their community The future of the brand and why We should be invested in the future but also reinsure people that the brand is okay. What I was looking for from this state of play was to reinsure That the PlayStation brand is fine and that we're back on track after The lack of first party exclusives, The whole Concord fiasco and The PS5 Pro and this conference did a horrible job at conveying that.
@@ElephantTrap really If that's the case what's the numbers for VR sales because for what I looked up it hasn't been really selling all too well and no one really gives a fuck about VR that much for PlayStation.
@MrDegenerate28 according to multiple VR devs I asked a few months ago: they estimated around 1.3 to 1.5 million. But this was months ago. We get more games each week on psvr2 compared to the psvr1 era. The only thing lacking is first party, but then again, ps5 flat hasn't been great either when it comes to first party. Instead Sony has opted to fund games for psvr2 it seems.
@@ElephantTrapThat is not good numbers in my humble opinion Also you can tell PlayStation don't give a fuck about it because they don't even make first party games for it as you mentioned so that just goes to show you that it's not a top priority for them. Again if this was any other state of play I would not care about VR being there but given the circumstances this was not the state of play for that.
@MrDegenerate28 if they didn't care you wouldn't see any games on state of plays at all. Also, there have been rumors that they have 2 first party games in development for psvr2. We will have to wait and see for that. Sales aren't fantastic no, but it's doing fine. Sony stated before launch they hoped to sell 2 million headsets in the first 2 years. So if the numbers are correct, they are well on their way. Especially with how it sold out during that big sale they had. Remember that this is an add-on. They paid millions for resident evil in Vr and they made sure it got pcvr support as well for example. And almost all bigger 3rd party vr games are coming to psvr2, if psvr2 wasn't selling at all, devs wouldn't do that. So I think it's doing fine. Not great, but ok 🙂

Also about those games you mention hell is us, archage are not time exclusive nor console exclusive so again what are we talking about here?
