so areas were designated flood areas and known flood areas. but now the council just ignore that and build houses there, knowing they will flood. sounds about right.

Sorry to hear you've not bumped into them. What parks do you usually visit? We have a team of 4 Community Rangers but they do have over 6,000 acres to cover. We're also supported by a team of volunteer rangers who you might see out in the parks.
I live on a peartree bridge so I walk all around there, up to the river up and down the canal, Willen lake, around Woolstone, sometimes Tattenhoe park do you have any more vids like that? I really enjoyed it and shared it on Facebook.
