He’s a HUGE TIP! Make sure your pants shape your butt regardless of the style. Switching my pants from saggy booty to pants to that shape me, make me feel more confident and it looks more stylish. The secret is with the butt. Get your pants tailored if you can.
Same, a guy here I didnt really care about it butt once I saw myself in the mirror. Damn these cargos came with a bonus, perfect fit from the back too and ngl I got atleast double the confidence of already being hella confident.
Yeah I accidentally discovered last year that flared jeans look best on me. They give me a beautiful body silhouette and make it look like I've more curves than I really do 😂. I've a pear shaped body, but like a more flattened one so it's not as curvy as Beyonce's is. I always read that flared jeans don't suit my type, but it was very surprising to find out they look best on me. I don't think people should stick to one type of pants. They should just experiment. Sometimes it's not the shape, but the colours. One thing I do know about making ur butt look better tho, it's that the back pockets gotta be in the right position. Not too high, not too low, not too wide. That's what u look for
@@sin3358 Yes, pockets are super important! Size as well as placement matters! Also, the shape of the yoke (the seams above the pockets but below the belt) makes a huge difference.
As someone who's been experimenting with pants fit and alteration for years, let me offer my 2 cents to other people struggling like I was. The fact of the matter is that if you have short legs, flare and stright leg pants are going to be more challenging to pull off right off the rack, as they make you look shorter, giving you a square silhouette. BUT there is a solution: taper your pants to a 15" leg opening. That's the magic number. You'll still look like you're wearing a more relaxed pant, but that subtle taper will do wonders for your silhouette. If you want the pant to be cropped above the shoe as opposed to draping over the top of the shoe, I find a 14.5" or even 14" leg opening is better.
for me (5'9", wide-ish hips), I quite like looser fitting pants with a tapered leg opening. I'm not sure what the measurements are, but I find that they are very forgiving about body type. they turn my wider hip area into a relaxed look but don't drown me in a super wide fit. A fit somewhat between slim and straight is also nice, but I prefer the looser silhouette and feel for comfort and because it just fits me personally, I think
@@Steven-mv9nx honestly I haven’t found a good pant that comes in this kind of fit other than the Levis 502, but I’m not a fan of the cheap materials they use on that model or the really low rise. So what I do is thrift straight leg pants (501, 505, Carhartt, Lee regular fit) and take them to my tailor for a crop and taper. When all is said and done I’ve usually just spent $50-$60 since I saved by thrifting. Hope that helps 👍🏼
I have genetically big thighs in proportion to the rest of my body, they also pack on muscle MUCH faster than anything else (I can actually skip leg days sometimes) so skinny fits started to make me look like I just had christmas hams wrapped in cling foil. Way too tight for my body. I've since stuck with more straight and relaxed fits and it compliments my legs way more. Maybe looking for fabric blends with a little spandex or something else stretchy would help, some fabrics will be made to only stretch horizontally (AKA one way stretch). This issue is common for a lot of women as well : \ If the pants are cotton like jeans, hang dry only if they fit right or if your desperate you could hand stretch wet jeans then hang dry them, it can actually make them a bit it wider lol.

Not Christian just flexing his tree trunk bodybuilder thighs 💀
Being 6’5 with a booty is the hardest shit ever. They never told you how lifitng would make finding jeans that go over your quads difficult, or that go over your ass impossible 😭. Then you gotta get a super large size that doesnt fit your slimmer waistline but at least you can wear them….with a belt…now you got that weird lumpy jeans look
This is what an intp looks like when they actually do what they need to do
what 😭
@@astttrraahh its a personality type, people from this type create 'systems' based on what's logically the easiest, but usually are introverted and don't usually share these handy systems to others. In this context, a system of choosing clothes is being shared so It looks like someone from this personality type found the energy to make a tutorial based on how they pick clothes. Not say they are an INTP, but this was a good example of what that would look like.
@@milkyshakes OH ik what you meant, im an enfp i was just confused as to how that could mean they were an intp
I got THICK thighs and it's difficult for to know what type of pants buy.
With this video, I know than I just need to be comfortable inside.

Happy thanksgiving my fellow fashion forward NYC friend. Loved this video currently on the hunt for some good pants 😄
I am still wearing skinny (only jeans) but not spray skinny jeans, more like straight to slim cut jeans. But straight loose cargos/pants/corduroy are the new wave.
Im gonna wear baggy big phat 90s type jeans for the rest of my life. I havent owned a pair of skinny jeans since 2019
Straight cut simply looks better
Man I just found your channel a couple days ago but I’ve been binging tf outta your videos💀keep it up, this is the channel I’ve been looking for Fr
found these $8 black wide brandless karate pants in a thrift store with straps for the waist and around the knees if I wanna cinch them, they can easily pass as avante garde, and more fav than my Ricks skinny cargos or bareknuckles trousers atm
caught a vibe and that’s all that matters
I just rewatched every episode of its always sunny for like 100 times in a row and I just got ptsd from the background music
this video made me feel included and better about myself
YO THAT QUAD AND CALVES
"Who the fuck cares about other people's opinion" Yes, indeed, this absolutely.
I graduated from skinny fit at some point because I simply didn't want to feel uncomfortable for the sake of "fashion" anymore, I wear what I feel comfortable in an what looks good on me, be it more slim pants, tapered, cropped, cuffed or wide, and any of these combinations.
For real. Experiment. Find yourself. EXPRESS yourself. Ignore the haters.
Cargo pants or sweatpants with a hoodie and some nice shoes is best 👍
THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS THIS VIDEO IS ACTUALLY SO USEFUL

You`re the most chill fashion youtuber omg i luv u :3
I don’t understand why you’re so surprised about the difference in size from those 32 pants to the 33 ones, one inch is A LOT
I also went from straight leg to slim fit I'm 80's baby, so the extra baggy in the 90's I was all about that.
wait skinnys have come full circle in trends? I'm not sure if that's what you're hinting at here, but I choose not to believe it, well except flares which are swaggy
Cant find pants that fit like Big Boys but aren’t 2 hundo, boutta try and make my own
